What makes you feel alive? At least 95% of the time I don't feel alive, I just exist, doing what I have to, often even things I would consider 'fun', but even though stuff might make me feel somewhat interested intellectually, it doesn't make me feel any less dead inside. The only exception is when I am being intensely shocked or surprised in any way, and while doing somewhat risky stuff that gets me a rush of adrenaline, like mountainbiking for example. I need to focus and be in the moment, or else I could break my bones. There's no deeper meaning to it, it just makes me feel like I am using my body and mind in a way it was designed (to withstand stress in situations where you need to act quickly) and that makes it so fun. Are there any nice activities you enjoy to feel alive?

>>31143 i don't think i've ever really felt alive in the past couple months. everything has been so lifeless, so repetitive, so same-y. maybe the only thing i genuinely enjoy is blasting fast music into my eardrums, making it difficult to think about anything else other than the music itself, and also riding my bicycle. everything else feels... "off", i don't know how to explain. it's always like i don't actually like doing the things i think i enjoy doing. i also talk to literally 0 people, online and offline, apart from the people who live with me. i think it's over for me.

not much honestly. music, learning things, sex (haven't had this in quite some time), sometimes video games (also increasingly rare because modern games are mostly soykaf) There's gotta be more out there, man.

Connecting with another person; by genuinely understanding and empathizing with someone. There is no greater sensation of being alive than feeling another's heart race, stomach sink, face contort, or limbs relax. By extension, you could say that feeling makes me feel alive.

I always feel alive. Simple pleasures are literally all I want. I work full time but if anybody asks my career it's manchild or slacker and I wouldn't have it any other way. Like the Last Man became the Ubermench! Haw haw haw!

the moment that I get over after being very upset for a long time. It's not pure joy either but it is good

>>31143 Smoking weed and going on nightwalks with friends just hanging out. As someone now nearing their 40s you can imagine how long that's been now. I haven't had a real friend since 2006.

Mountainbiking, dirtbiking, climbing, graffiti, urbexing, and a glowing activity were all that gave me joy and I will probably never do them again. Normal people activities don't bring me any feeling. All I can do now is socialize with other people. I have tried to talk with people and hang out with people but I don't know what to do or say, usually you can focus more on an activity you are sharing together when hanging out but everything normal people do is boring. Life is boring. Each day delivers the same meaningless monotony. Why don't people just kill themselves, I probably will.

>>33180 i agree with you on that. i am pretty sick of the culture obsessive compulsive socialization and it's constant posturing and oral-fixated sublimation of actually doing something worthwhile. I've spent a lot of time in scenes where there are a lot of people around all the time, and everyone expects you to hold extended conversations. It's gotten to the point where i've had chronic neck and back pain from holding my head in certain positions. I changed my atitude and people thought i was weird, crazy, or worse. Fukkk thst soykaf. Best thing to is find people that are like you.

Whenever I push against my problems, issues and troubles. Whenever I exert myself further than what I am currently. I have reshaped myself countless of times and I am only in my mid 20s. It gave me sort of disassociation and denationalization that enables me to push even further. Emotions and experiences feel dull and shallow now. It's almost as if the rocket pushing through the atmosphere has to go further than anticipated.

>>33184 I don't see groups of people like you describe anywhere anymore. In any public sphere in this decade all I see are people glued to a screen.
