Just watched it. Haven't seen the original so I have no way to compare them. I did not really understand what was going on at several points (probably intentionally) and overall the movie had a fever-dream quality to it. It was very atmospheric though; great mood. Some of the edits were obvious, e.g. Batman running away from the police station, but others were convincing; for example before reading your spoiler I didn't realize that the DA wasn't supposed to instantly blow up when Batman answered the phone (lol). Of course I can't accurately comment on this since I don't know how most of the scenes were originally. Very interesting overall. Did you find this elsewhere on the internet, or is it your own work?

>>30985 hi i made the cut myself the original movie is way too long at almost 3 hours long and it feels pretty much just as disjointed as this but with everything beating you over the head with information and out of place humor some of the cuts im really proud of like manor to alfred blowing up (man what were they thinking killing off alfred, and what were they thinking showing him carelessly open a bomb in slow motion) and then hospital scene after, for audio i mixed dialogue-free surround and normal 2 channel which gave me some freedom in blending in scenes almost seamlessly since audio is what gives it away most of the time. some guy on /tv/ made a dr strange 2 cut that cut entire characters out or something like that i remembered /tv/ mostly hated this so this was just an experiment in maximizing the dark brooding vibes favorite cuts: bike > batcave. something as simple as not having a voiceover during the song really improves the movie biggest regret: sticking with no catwoman means I couldnt include the part where she goes into the club undercover, it was pretty kino ngl

Managed to download it at 360p, maybe. Sounds like a beautiful cut, but I think I'm spoiled by higher quality, so it's just sort of unwatchable. A torrent/other host would be great.

I'll watch this when I get home to be honest I think the biggest thing needing cut was the fuarrrking insane 15+ fatality car chase that happens so Batman can catch up to a drug dealer, ask him one question then let him go. Impossible to take batman seriously after that, apparently he's completely against deliberately or through inaction killing hardened murderers and rapists but will get multiple civilians killed and maimed chasing a gang banger that he proceeds to do nothing with

>>31193 Nah, sorry not buying it, if they're going for a serious tone and want the audience to suspend disbelief for it the characters need to act consistently with what they're experiencing inside their world according to their personality and aims. The its just a movie or its just a comic book excuse barely works for stuff going for a light hearted fluff tone, it doesn't work at all in a movie about political corruption and an emotionally disturbed vigilante fighting an even more emotionally disturbed but probably more effective domestic terrorist vigilante Batman causing a fuel tanker explosion that killed twenty people to stop a shoplifter would be a funny gag in a black comedy or could be played for drama if presented seriously but in the Batman it just happens for no reason, nothing comes out of it and its never mentioned again. It was like they wanted to film a more restrained less bombastic chase scene but the studio told them they hadn't filled their stunt and explosions quota so they had to film this mess and they didn't have time to write it out of the script either. It felt like something from a different movie that was hastily colour graded to kind of fit and it was crappy to look at.

I think it would've added to the movie if they brought it up as a moment of Bruce's weakness just as his violent beatdown of the Riddler goon at the end was. If they spent a minute to slow down and have Batman grapple with his actions it would've been cool. We have to agree to disagree though, I let it slide because I get to watch the funny colors flash on a screen. We all have different tolerances and tastes for hollywood bullshit. >it was crappy to look at. this is completely incomprehensible however, it was shot pretty well. with some good setpieces and effects. not the biggest visual stunner of the movie, but it was pretty fuarrrking good looking.
