Mods please feel free to move this topic to its appropriate thread if it is off topic.
What other works would a Serial Experiments Lain fan enjoy? It does not have to be very similar or very alike. Texhnolyze is made by largely the same creative staff, and they go for different moods and themes.
I am looking to get both anime and (western) cartoons (i.e. animation in general), video games (old and new), music (any genre or any source, whether electronic or even Lain sound tracks alike, it is all good), live action movies and live action series. The only thing I can't get much use from are table tops or toys, but if you want to include those, by all means. Maybe this short thread will take off, and we will have a wikia where all Lain friendly works converge, whether they are about cyberpunk, technology, internet, hacker culture, or just the weird feeling you got on your first time Lain views. Thank you kindly for your input.

Hypnospace Outlaw. I've been wanting to give it a try. Definitely might this weekend.
