first time posting here, pls don't judge lainons, need a little help, here's my story
>looking for a job
>get referred to some HR guy at a "decent" company
>mail him my job application
>log out
>go on with my life expecting a call
>fastforwardthreedayslater.jpg
>migrating to a new mail client
>setting up my emails
>upon setting up my work email notice I got a message
>mfw it's the HR guy responding
>reply was sent 8 minutes after I sent him my job application
>reads: "hello lainon, tried calling you, call me back when u can"
>whatthefuckhaveidone.jpg
>call the guy
>doesn't pick up
>wait one hour
>call again
>guy picks up
>me: "hey I saw your response to my email, you're still looking to hire, right?"
>HR guy: "yeah yeah, of course, I'll call you later, bye!"
>3 more days pass
>no call yet
not looking for pity, but what can I do to remind him of my existence (considering that he's still looking to hire me), mail him? call him? what to say? I don't want to be pushy and annoy the guy, but he might've forgotten.
Job is in retail btw

your probably better off moving, he obviously has.
Anyway, if u really need
-Spam emails, early/midday
-Call midday i am guessing(probably better)
>I don't want to be pushy and annoy the guy, but he might've forgotten.

>mail him? call him? what to say?
You already know what must be done, why do you think we can help you?
Nothing we say here will be of any help to you.
If he doesn't call you, he's rejecting you. He just wanted to be kind over the phone so he didn't have to deal with one of your outbursts.

Just keep calling him. Remind him that you missed his call, say you want the job, and bug the soykaf out of him until you get an answer. Call him every day at 9:30 am. Being pushy is necessary in the slave new world.

Explain what happened and keep calling until you receive a proper response, he owes you that. I don't know why people are like this, if he isn't interested in you anymore he should just say so instead of acting like a cunt.

Send him an email and apologize for the mix up. Not your fault, simple mistakes can happen. Express that you're dedicated to finding work and that you qualify for the job that they are hiring for.
>Alternatively
Perhaps fate intended for you to never see that email. Maybe you are lucky.
Personally I would see it as a sign that you were never meant to get this job.
Don't ignore such obvious signs.

Hi folks, its me again, I wrote an email to the guy the day I made this post asking him to just come forward if he's not interested in hiring and there's nothing wrong with that, blah blah blah... till this day, not a response, I've been ghosted, I guess that's the answer for those wondering.
I apologize for not replying earlier, I've got some soykaf distracting me earlier and didn't visit the board for a couple days.

perhaps that, I'm not beating myself over it, I just didn't want to waste an opportunity, but now its gone, a new opportunity should rise soon.

Mail and Call. Do the Job and Make Bank.

plenty other fish in the sea bud
go and explain the misscommunication problem so that HR don't think you're playing hard to get, but eventually don't beat yourself up for it
t. lost my job in the beginning of pandemic and was 6 months jobless, applied to 2 jobs a day until I got a job
