I'm fuarrrking tired of getting asked by normal users whether I already have my driver's license and my parents forcing me to waste my money to get one. Getting the license itself costs about 1000 bucks, a car itself will also be 5,000-10,000 bucks depending on the model not to mention the cost of maintenance, taxes and other soykaf just for a vehicle that will last you a me years.
I'm planning on working as a software engineer so there's a 99% chance I will end up working from home so I won't need a car for my job. As for going around places in town my bike works perfectly and will keep my body fit and healthy.
When I want to visit family I can always use public transport which isn't reliant on fossil fuels and cheap as long as you're not traveling during the busy hours.
Cars are the worst invention ever and I will never change my mind about them. They make people lazy, they kill millions of people per year and they cost way too much.

Polacks greets, here no one will tell you to do anything like that, except a driver's license. There is no social pressure to own a car.

Did train manufacturers magically stopped using plastics and petrochemical lubricants and switched to wood and sperm oil this year or am I not following?

still worth getting a license later on itll be more difficult. cars are pretty useless for daily life in a city, but one day you might be in a situation where you need to drive. out in the country, or a medical emergency...

if you can convince yourself with that then you should be careful with what media you consume

I don't "consume" "media". Only Americans like you do.
