Brazilian Imageboards

Since the biggest brazilian imageboard went away about 5 days ago I've roamed the internet for a good alternative and I'm really disappointed by the quality of them. Brazilian lainanons, gather around and let's discuss the state of our imageboard scene and try to sort out the good, the bad and ugly ones. >favelachan The official successor to 55chan. Pretty much an anonymous Twitter. The engine is complete soykaf and it really looks and feels like an e-favela. >1500chan N. is completely retarded. Ever since he exposed some guy's IP because he disagreed with his political views I have never trusted that place anymore. >27chan Slow and boring. It's full of northeastern pseudo-intellectuals and you really can't have fun even on /b/. >VHSchan Gay ass website, but I've heard they are banning tranny spammers now. >/p/ on 28chan Dead as fuarrrk, only the Crystal Castles users use it. >topkek.cf It's not a real chan yet. As you can tell, OP speaks english, so the issue isn't really just that he wants an imageboard where he can speak in portuguese, he wants an imageboard where he can discuss with other brazillians, most likely about brazillian subjects. On a side note, portuguese from just about anywhere other than Brazil sounds disgusting to me. This is relatively normal here and there's probably a similar feeling everywhere else, which ultimately ends up meaning that we don't share all that much media.

Huh, it's been a while since I visited 55, I grew sick of it, I kinda miss the culture from time to time (it's somewhat leaked into surfaceweb though) and specially some great threads at the melhor orário but really I feel leaving the mar de mijo was great for my well-being. I just post here and on some general threads on other chans (which are another type of soykaf entirely). Honest opinion, stay out of brazilian /b/s, it's just children and political gayops at this point, it was the last BR bastion of "cool internet" we had until the MAVs found out and started forcing memes and/or stealing them for their own interests while they don't give a fuarrrk about what fatso anão over here wants or needs. Good to know about our options, though.

This is why imageboards should allow Tor, such as how Lainchan does. I see the future of these communities as going ever deeper underground, by leaving the WWW and using specialized forum protocols, but my work on this is still years away from widescale practicality, at the earliest.

I was between favela and 27chan. Since favela is down (for over a week now) I've been trying to post on 27, but there is little to no users there. I wonder were all the users migrated to, probably scattered between normal social media, Reddit and international image boards. Really a shame, Brazil deserves an decent image board

The best imageboard for us is the /br/ board of ptchan, the rest is either dead or pure soykaf.

I know this thread is for Brazil but anybody know of any good Mexican/Spanish imageboards? Hispachan is soykaf

Does anyone know if any French anonymous imageboard channels exist?

>>29278 Salut l'amis, You won't find any interesting french board anywhere. There's a few a them but they are either empty (only threads obviously posted by the board owner with 0 content) are not very active (1 post a day max, sometimes only 1 post per week). Stick to the english ones, they are way more active and it makes you learn new words and soykaf it's cool.

I never could stand any brazilian imageboard, but also I’ve only lurked on /b/s so I kinda feel that I’ve missed some great threads everywhere. I generally didn’t try too much to get into them anyways, but I’ll sure check out the ones I don’t know yet. Em resumo: I can’t contribute to this with any good brazilian imageboard, I miss Realchan and don’t care about 1500/55, they were pure soykaf all along.

>>29281 Oh I see ^^ Well, all of them are empty or super-slow :/ They also don't write a lot on french imageboards (mostly image posting) as they are not big enough to have interesting debates. And when they do write something, it's mostly badly written french (with a lot of spelling errors) or a mix of french/english words or even french "internet slang" that is mostly composed of french private jokes. It's not a great place to learn french. Start by reading a lot of french news from french press online (Le Monde, Aujourd'hui en France, Libération, L'Humanité, Le Figaro, Marianne, Mediapart, etc) and then if you're comfortable enough with the language you can take a look at french internet communities that are using more slang and doing more spelling errors. You can ask me any question if you want, on this thread or I can create a new thread for people wanting to learn French and having questions (about spelling, definition of a word, culture, etc), no problem :) I'll be happy to help.
