There was einchan but I think it's dead.
Rip, love you guys if you're still out there
Junichi Fujiwara · 2020-12-17 03:45
Dunno if it counts, but there's something called RepoChan in tilde.club. It's run by J. Frank Parnell. Don't really feel like making an account there, just to post, but whatever.

Thank you so much, lain. I have been trying to remember the name of this. Found some old posts of mine from 2017 on it... time flies.

Chan Siu Ming · 2020-12-29 05:41

Yamaoto Toshi · 2021-01-03 05:23

EinChan admin here, thanks! <3
We had a nice little thing going for a while, but my cheapo hosting provider disappeared without warning and by the time I found another and got the chan back up activity died right down, so I never brought it back after the next hosting problem.
Still got backups if there's an appetite for a return, it looks like whisper.onthewifi.com has the niche covered though.

Could you post the backups somewhere for anons to peruse? This sounds like an interesting thing to have and just idly browse whenever I have downtime.

This might sound dumb but how do you post a reply? Pressing q,Q,r,R dosen't do anything.
Elliot Alderson · 2021-01-13 11:09

On the thread screen press :p<Enter>

what's the password?
or is it for people smarter than me? I tried a bunch of things with no success.

For whisperchan? For the textboard:
user: bit
password: byte
for memes:
user: memes
password: memes
Make sure your terminal window is large enough.
