How's it going lainchan? thought I'd hang out here for a bit until I get underezzed from the 4chin. Anyways, I have a question. Do you honestly enjoy the internet? or do you just use it because there's nothing better to do. I've found that the more I use this old pile o' junk, the more tired I get of it. Politics and censorship everywhere, rise of social media and the people that came with it, same old soulless web design on every site, NPCs left and right. Remember when the internet was an escape from the real word? well, I do. Things just aren't the same as they were 10-15 years ago. I apologize if this is a "4chin tier post." or if I posted on the wrong board. I've never once used this chan before.

Besides talking to internet friends, listening to YouTube music and chins i enjoy it less and less every day. A very respected modder for a game I follow got derezzed from the official forum cause someone thought the stripe pattern livery for his new truck looked like waffen SS symbol. I used to enjoy many things, now everything i do either because i have nothing better going or im addicted, mostly both. I could be reading books instead, but theyre sort of just another medium for consumption to me and considering the outdoor season is just about over for me, i dont really have good alternatives.

Yes. The Internet reached its pinnacle around 2005. You can recapture a bit of this feeling by getting rid of corporate social media and burrowing deeper underground.... that's what I've done.

I Slowly started using social media in general each day less and less, now i only enter there one a day to check university's posts. I love to use internet for torrenting, downloading vidya and anime, and also is the most convenient way of searching about programming related stuff. Oh, and there's also this sanctuary of a page, on wich we're viewing content now :)
