You shouldn't get a permanent tattoo either at all, or at least not until you have tested your design choice and placement using temporary tattoos like Henna.
Instead you should think for a while longer on what exact design you want and why you want it and then when you have narrowed it down to a shortlist (top 3, top 5) etc.
You should get the same design henna tattooed on your body part of choice , as a mechanism to try the design and body part choice for around 2 weeks before you commit to something more permanent.
After testing several of the designs and placements for a few months, you should have a better idea of the design you want and its placement on your body.
You also want to be aware of the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_effects_of_tattoos the possible health effects of your new tattoo as well as ensuring that you find a trusted, licensed and safe tattoo artist.

You could get a dragon tattooed on your genitalia, complete with eggs.

>A soykafty drawn spirit wolf on your chest
But to be honest fam, think about something you would be willing to have on your body in 30 years, would your wife/husband appreciate it? Would you be able to explain it to your children or boss? Star Wars and other Sci-Fi logo tats are pretty mainstream. I know a few people with WoW, Deadspace, Star trek, and Anime tats. A subtle hatsune-miku would probably be acceptable.
Also no-go:
>Sailor tats if you are have never even been on a boat
>Military/Police themed tats, especially if you aren't even in the military, I met a guy with a huge law enforcement punisher skull on his shoulder, and it was for his brother who was a cop. It makes you look like a huge tool
>Nordic tats (unless you are nordic and not just trying to viking meme)
Remember that body changes in shape affect the way the tattoo does so placement matters.
Computer logos seem kinda dumb like brand advertising, but you could do a computer themed sleeve or something like cables and circuit boards emerging from under your skin.
Also
>not getting lain tattooed on you forever
I think that this falls more under /vis/ to be honest, and you should really consider what the other lain said.>>19442

Thanks for the advice, I just want something to make a forensic laugh as they do my autopsy

why spend money on tattoo when you can buy cryptocurrency?
don't do something like in the OP image, looks very bad

stop with the cryptomeme, OP knows what lain wants, also this has nothing to do with the thread.
You could get a crypto key of some sort, or a QR code (which will look like soykaf in 50 years).
just get one o the variants of pic rel, obscure enough to start convo, but still semi mainstream, so a few people would know it
You could get one of those trashy white girl inspirational quotes, but for the words just have something super nihilistic, or a stupid quote about technology, or a meme phrase

Don't get a meme tattooed on you. They tend to age horribly.

tattoos are common and gross and a waste of money.
unless you live in a trailer park no one is going to be impressed by your tattoo.
if you do live in a trailer park I guess go ahead and get one. you're in the right place.
literally 100% of the people I know with tattoos are broke as fuarrrk and never have money for anything but yet pay for this.
Nguoi La · 2020-09-21 00:32
that pic in the OP looks fuarrrking stupid, it's just random nonsense
I've always thought this would make a pretty good tattoo, a dragon curve with self-similarity ratio of phi
it would be funny to write a basic SQL injection hack into your tattoo so if you ever got arrested it would fuarrrk everything up. I mean it probably wouldn't but you can tell people that and it's a good story(after all isn't that why most people get tattoos)

fractal tattoos could be cool but only if the person doing it actually understood what is going on and is willing take the time to do all the details right. i feel like most tattoo artists would just draw something with vaguely the right shape and call it a day (not to mention all the little details getting blurry over time... super detailed tattoos don't tend to age well). i wish there was some kind of tattoo printer for soykaf like this.
