Lately Ive become curious about counter culture projects. political, tech, whatever.
Lainons, what are some other examples of organizations who front with humour and trolling but are actually backed with hard foundations and philosophy?
Some examples Ive found
>vermin supreme
"The mission of this campaign is to spread a loud and unapologetic message of free thought, clean smiles, and ponies. Through satire and humor, I present real issues with fantastical context, in-depth analysis, and a dose of much-needed humor in the political sphere. With thought provoking activism, I stand against the tyrannical duopoly, the violent police state, and all forms of overreaching government.
I seek a world of liberty; a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and are not forced to sacrifice their values for the benefit of others. I believe that respect for individual rights is the essential precondition for a free and prosperous world, that force and fraud must be banished from human relationships, and that only through freedom can peace and prosperity be realized.
Consequently, I will always defend each person’s right to engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and welcome the diversity that freedom brings. The world I seek to build is one where individuals are free to follow their own dreams, in their own ways, without interference from the government or any other authoritarian power. With honesty, empathy, courage, and free ponies for everyone, I will lead past, present, and future America to the pinnacle of freedom under the rule of the one and only Tyrant You Can Trust"

EVERYBODY FOR PRESIDENT!
-- Well, at least everybody who feels ready for the responsibility of self-goverment. Those who still need a Big Daddy or a Big Momma to discipline and dominate them should vote for whatever furhrer or saviour they like best. If you want self-government don't vote for the Two Lying Bastards of the Democan and Republicrat parties..... or for any minority party that also wants to govern you....

do you know santarchy?
'Twas the days before Christmas, and all through the bars; Frightening the shoppers and mooning the cars; Roamed cheap-suit Santas, soaked to the gills; Bellowing carols and spreading ill-will.'

I'm considering participating in PosterGasm. Already chose a name for my cabal and all that.
I'm just worrying that my posters are maybe too wordy. I'm not that great at coming up with mind-twisters so they tend to sound like slogans, no good.

A few esoteric religions (like those you and others alluded to) fit the bill. Much of it is not only humour but satire, an effective technique for conveying critique or mockery in an enjoyable way.

Now this is an ideology I can get behind!
I wonder if nontheistic Satanism is close enough to OP's question, except those groups rely more edginess than humor for the same purpose.

This isn't an active project and hasn't been for a very long time now, but they're courteous enough to keep hosting the site. This group had a project to make different building toys like Lego, Knex, Lincoln Logs, etc. interoperable using 3D printed parts. I don't know how many of their projects came to fruition but picking through the bones of it is probably of interest to you: http://fffff.at/ (PDF attached as well)

I've read a little bit of Principia, and while it seems like a product of its time in a way I don't personally care for, I have a soft spot for humorous (rather than edgy) hacker-y culture jamming projects. Is good.

Dogecoin...kinda.
It's like bitcoin without the block stream coroporation and also it actually works.
Dogecoin actually spends and actually works so you don't get charged $500 bucks in fees for sending $1000 of bitcoin. Plus it's a literal meme. Every time the Dogecoin price goes up, Bitcoin people get mad. It's great. I keep buying a little bit at a time.

Principia Discordia is the book I was referring to. The poster I was replying to was using a Discordian catchphrase. If you want a copy it should still be in the most recent sharethread, that's where I found it.
Jane Doe · 2021-06-21 08:00
Have there been any Discordian zines this decade, apart from erischan's? I think there might have been a book or two I saw but they seem historical and bibliographic rather than innovative or artistic. There was also that /tg/ anon's massive game manual that was over 100 pages long.

I'm working on a new one. There have been plenty of small, secretive cabals I know of but not everyone who fratenizes with eris wants attention.
