Well, if we're gonna have a thread about torrenting, I'll say that I've torrented, on my own IP address, for ages, with no problems from my ISP, the horrid one associated with TV, until I tried downloading a TV show. Then, they sent a strongly worded letter about copyright infringement. Well, too bad for that TV show, and TV shows in general, because I didn't like them anyway.

>>18927 They don't care as much for downloading as they do uploading. Since torrents work by sharing between computers you make yourself vulnerable for playing a role you didn't intend to take the risk for if you don't pay attention to the settings.

I use knaben.xyz because it lists magnets from multiple torrent websites including piratebay. It's pretty neat and ad free.
