Hey, Lain. I am looking for cheap or free domain without entering personal data, such as passport id and other Identifiable stuff. I tried godaddy, but it requires card of paypal(which requires passport id, fuarrrrk).
I also tried to register free domain at `.tk` zone, but it says no one of domains is available (yes, I tried to clear cookies, use proxy/vpn, it doesnot help me).
So, lain, please, can you suggest me place where I can get free or buy cheap domain(using BTC maybe?). Thanks a lot.

And btw, is it legal to just enter random data as passport id on paypal. Will not be my account blocked or something?

the usual workaround for this is to use a visa gift card bought with cash. you may be able to find a registrar that takes crypto but i don't know of any offhand. technically you're not supposed to lie when you fill in the ICANN data either but i'm not sure what the repercussions would be except maybe losing the domain, and its not exactly like they have an easy way of working out if you lied in the first place.

One solution is to create a Tor hidden service. Then you advertise the onion address and give the link to download Tor browser, and anyone can visit your site.

Freenom and namecheap don't care if you use fake info such as "Alex Smith" and "123 main st New York city"

The simplest thing I know of is afraid.org, but you don't get a proper domain, just a subdomain that might disappear. This shouldn't be an issue with the domains with over 1000 users though.

I personally use gandi.net, they accept cryptocurrency and prices are not bad. The domains even include free email hosting as well.

I use https://www.orangewebsite.com/ myself. Pay with crypto, don't need to provide any personal info, it works great for me. I made a seperate email address for it as well, just to be unnecessarily safe. see also: https://www.privacytools.io/providers/hosting/
