I think... i overdosed on inform... Recently, i started to study tulpas and i currently have a project for that which aims to put what i came to conclusion into practice. For those who don't know, tulpas are objects/beings that exist only in a person's mind. The person can see, interact and even do some nasty things with it, but it requires very heavy training to make a tulpa. You may even consider that the person is actually deceiving his own mind. But this concept have a very curious feature: if this tulpa is strong enough, because you put too much trust in it, it can become real and other people can see what you see, and even that tulpa can create its own tulpa (that’s why you can’t exactly eat a tulip, contradicting what I said before. For you to get to the point to fuarrrk with your tulpa, it means that you have put too much trust in it, and it can become real and be corrupted by your lust). This part intrigued me, "Can other people see your tulpa? Something on your mind? That's equivalent to say that someone can read another person's mind, that is impossible!", i thought, and indeed it is impossible, but now i realize it need not stop being true. If you consider that reality is something outside your existence, aka. "reality exists regardless of your existence", like i was thinking, you will reach that conclusion and stop there, but you will forget that we are talking about something of the person's mind, and a mind/conscience is necessary to decipher the reality. If that person was mistaken to the point of living what does not exist, in this case other people seeing his tulpa, that would make perfect sense, which would consequently indicate that his mind is just a tool of his existence to understand the reality. This, in addition to putting you in a paradox ("is reality what I see, or what I see is my interpretation of reality?"), it gives to you a number of things you can do, but that it requires really strong training to do what I'm going to say. Imagine you can have a "to-do list" appearing in front of you, without anyone seeing, or you can make a "bot" that frees you from doing physical work and keeps you just doing the logistical work of reality, perhaps a calculator that do the calculations for you in your mind, or even have a space in your mind that you can go for a while, as if it were a dream and you want to rest. Obviously, this is saying the simple things, because if you really want to get out of reality and try to "fix your mistakes", you can simply use your mind to create a false world, the world of lies where everything went well. Who knows, if we do it right, we will discover that we are not really people, but souls trapped in a body, we will transcend reality and discover that our body is just "a doll we control" and we would be independent of our bodies. Anyway, this came to a fantastic conclusion: our mind is just a tool to understand our reality, so we can use it to improve our lives. I need to do more studies on this, and i will probably try to do something simple, like a board that only i can see and write things on, or a "box" in my mind where I can get in there and disconnect from reality for a while. time. But if it frees us, remember that with freedom always require more responsibility. If you are going to try and succeed, remember not to overdo it. I have no doubt that our minds have some pitfalls to prevent us from doing this, remember: we're going into unknown territory.

I can relate, there are too many times where I have overdosed on certain information because I felt like wanting to belong, it felt right and comfortable to belong in an information or piece of information that sounded right. I think the biggest reason people overdose on information whether it's right or wrong has to due with something in a deeper since. For me it's not having any friends and feeling like an outsider, I want to belong.

I have a tulpa but sadly i tend to slack off. >even that tulpa can create its own tulpa That takes a very strong tulpa, but its a fascinating idea. You are quite right in what you say, there are non physical and mental realities, this was well known among occultists and now scientists are also slowing recognising those. >Can other people see your tulpa Somewhat unlikely again, but if you have the power to project into reality and/or other minds trough collective conciousness it would be possible. Also tulpas were used by some people for remote viewing and other psychic purposes, i dont know how they used but there are a few mentions on the net. Telepathy and other forms of though projection are researched well to exist, but the way they work is still a mystery to our science. >>16130 >For me it's not having any friends and feeling like an outsider, I want to belong. Are you sure about this? I have recongnized that our soul set us the stage for us to learn, but learning at this level that we are at is way beyond our natural evolution. The curiosity involved in such matters is indicative of an old soul looking for forgotten memories of what we were. There are higher forms of non physical realities that we can travel in our mind to and manipulate, be careful what doors you open with your thought.

Hi lain, thank you for introducing me to tulpas. About your post, I find it interesting that you disolve the boundaries between the mind and the real, tangible world. The mind is a complex thing that we, as users, don't even understand yet. For example, you state that tulpas may create their own tulpas, which may create their on tulpas... Here we have an eternal consciousness loop, provided tulpas are indeed conscious on their own. Willing things into existence, as you state... Wouldn't that be wonderful, practical? Well, you can in fact will things into existence, but it does require some kind of "physical" effort. It may be born as a mental concept just to be thrown unto the material. Going beyond reality in order to fix your mistakes. Maybe we're here to fix mistakes from another consciousness, who knows. Prove that you are no tulpa yourself. Reality, everything that is external to our mind, as a giant tulpa. Solipsism to its maximum. Be it that way; this post is worthless. I just wanted to thank you again for introducing me to such a fascinating concept. I hope that you find the enlightment you seek.

>>16129 >The person can see, interact and even do some nasty things with it And by that you mean that they post on their favorite tulpa subreddit that they do. Tulpas are the next narrative step from self-inserting in your MLP fanfiction, actually pretending it's real. And I'm sure this all stands on low key fetish vibes. People don't do anything these days if they can't beat off to it, right Mr. Pink Elephant? See? Even Mr. Pink Elephant agrees.
