cool websites + request

howdy lainons, last year there was website thread that had a website heavily themed like the wired and i cant find it now, i know for sure it wasnt fauxx's one and while we're all here we might as well have a cool website thread

There's a lot of lain themed sites on Neocities (Site of fauxx's for example) maybe you will find it there.

Just explore on Neocities.

I don't know the site you're referring to OP. Here are some other cool websites that I like. http://n-gate.com/ - A very humorous summary of internet articles, I particularly like the hackernews ones. https://mumble.net/~campbell/emacs/paredit.html - List of paredit commands. I rarely use the website because I've memorized the most commonly used commands, though it's nice to have it bookmarked for just in case. https://www.biblio.com/ - I found out about this website a couple of weeks ago and was surprised by the amount of books I was able to find under $15 (with shipping). archive.org - I knew about it and had an idea that it was a huge archive but now that I've started actually using it, it seems much more bigger. You can find various books, music, videos on there, it's great.

>>15635 >cool website thread One site that I haven't visited in years but keep thinking about is "danger /u/" https://dangeru.us/. It's based off of the in-game text board from the "waifu bartending" game VA-11 HALL-A. In game the board had fake entries, but then someone made it into a real website, which was pretty awesome to see. Unfortunately most of the content consisted of shhtposts, but I still spent a bit of time there.

>>15649 I have checked out danger/u/. And it looks like they have a mostly young audience (high school students or around that age), which is interesting.

>>15650 >>15649 that interface looks amazing

http://mebious.neocities.org/ Is this the one you're looking for? It's the other popular lain shrine site.

>>15652 thanks fren, exactly the one

>>15650 That's because their audience comes from Google store.

>>15649 ahh... danger/u/. I was once a g/u/rl back when I first played VA-11 HALL-A. It's audience is small and the tech board is dead imo. Therefore I'm still here.
