What does lainchan do to unwind?

When you're angry, stressed, or sad, what do you tend to so that you can calm down? Do you prefer spending some time alone with your thoughts, doing something to distract yourself, or something entirely else? Honestly, I feel like canoeing is my activity of choice - I get to experience some of the much needed serenity with enough time to think things through; plus, if needed, inviting friends isn't a lot of trouble either.

I like playing scoutzknivez on Counter-Strike Source. Once i dive into the concentration the game mode requires it is like a smooth flow as you strafe through the air.

Make tea and play PUBG on my phone in my bed. The game forces me to not think about anything else.

>>11821 I'm stuck in South Korea and have a wife here but she is kind of abusive and just fights with me a lot, even if I try to seclude myself. I'm naturally a very private person and like to just spend all my time at my computer alone. I'm also virtually never able to socialize with anyone at work. So finding something to calm myself down and lose myself in would be really nice.

I usually go out some quiet place by myself and listen to tunes or read a book or so. Sometimes i hang out with friends, its good when theyre chill, but sometimes it makes it worse.

fire up GTA:SA, punch in the cheatcode for the fighter jet, and fly around in first-person mode listening to chill music

Sometimes I'll just get on the highway and drive. Not too far, maybe spend an hour or so on the road total. Other times I'll just do little nonogram puzzles. I know it's possible to write a solver for them, but doing them by hand is more fun.

Depending on the nature of the emotion, I will get on my bicycle and ride until I cant no more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAYhKBBEkUk Often I will end up riding 75-100 miles out of the city into the forest. By then I am so exhausted that my head is clear and empty and my heartbeat and breathing are the only things I am focused on. Once I get to this little 24 hour bar, named for the junction of county roads it is built on to the north of town, I will usually sit down and have a beer. Chill for an hour or two until my body settles down, enjoy the country tunes they play all the time on repeat then pedal home, or to the nearest buss stop.

>>11869 Have you tried virtual reality? The immersion and isolation is similar to driving around. And you don't need a nice PC anymore now that the portable units are coming out.
