Hello lains. Five years, eh? Oh, how time does fly. How are you? What have you known? What has changed? Is it for the better? Please, tell me how you are doing. I still love you.

Happy birthday lainchan!
A lot changed for the better for me, too much to write, i hope its similar for others.
Hope we survive another 5 years of cyberpunk dystopia and not lose too many lainons.
fuarrrk the man and lets all love lain.
And is that code a tox id?

Got a new job designing things that go boom.
A little financial security goes a long way toward personal improvement and works wonders for self esteem.
Discovered old friends in new ways, been feeling great because of it. Never expected to find what I was looking for in my own backyard.
Looking forward to the next 5-10 years.
This is my kind of dystopia!

Happy birthday Lainchan. I'm doing good, I'm taking a break from my job to go to university, it's a great opportunity and I'm happy with it. I've been here for about three years, but time's been moving too fast and I've been posting and lurking way less than I'd like to. Still, more than any website Lainchan has this weird aura to it that makes me visit it even in busy times in life. I feel like this place will live on years to come due to its dedicated userbase, even if it's a bit small.

Happy birthday, Lainchan. I'm doing good, even though my current situation is quite complicated. At least I'm finally able to fulfill my dreams. This place feels like a genuine safe space for anonymous yet mature and constructive content. As far as I know, there aren't many more places on the internet that are currently able to replicate such feeling, at least right now. The entire internet has degraded over past few years really badly, while this place still keeps amazing me. If someone asked me to point towards something that can be called a time machine, I would show this place.

happy birthday lainchan!
i kind of miss the old site before the older admin deleted it as #lefunnyprank, but this one is good too. though there's less cyberpunk larping compared to before and more feelings + political talk. these kind of comfy threads aren't bad though.
i want to draw a nice lain picture soon to show my love for the lain community.

Happy birthday Lainchan!
finishing university this summer. I've got no clue what to do, or even what I should do. Many around seem to have a good idea which doesn't help. I'll probably just wing it as I do with most things. Many other things have changed, but generally seems like for the better.
lainchan has stayed as good as it has been since the time I first discovered it, and kept me company during many late nights. thanks for the nice and comfy times fellow lains as well.

Stuff kinda changed? Not really, finally made the actual goddess Lain personifies reveal herself to me, but she's always been there quietly watching. She likes to remain ultra hidden, even masquerading her not-so-subtle-touches as other things... but I've pretty much always known (well, suspected, but now I know for sure).
Anyways, I hope this place stays on-line and actually studies Lain & the occult. You'll find out a ton if you actually dig down that rabbit hole. I'm honestly surprised no one else has done so... even though the site is called "lainchan", folks here don't actually study the things their namesake actually illuminated in said anime.
meh. I guess I'm doing better than before, but I might Crash and Burn soon, depending on how things go. Mostly just lonely as fuarrrk since the only folks who know what I do are all holed up in their secret clubs, and I'm some kind of outsider deemed to be an enemy for no good reason other than I could fuarrrk their soykaf up if I really wanted to (but I don't care to, not really much fun).
tldr: Just kicking back, watching the world get ready to burn.

I now have a phone that lets me post on sites like this one, and my eczema got worse.

For my seborrhea I tried everything and only successfully cured it with Aloe First spray that my mothers friend suggested because her husband had Psoriasis that he also cured with it.
I suggest you either buy it or make it by yourself if you can by looking at its substances.

I'm doing a lot better today than I was 5 years ago. I've learned a lot too... I've grown up, gotten better at social situations, had a few brief but rewarding romantic relationships, came to terms with the fact that my brain's fuarrrked, started thinking about what I really want in life and started working to get there.

Guns, explosives, or rockets?

Unless TS, many feds have loosened requirements to the last year.
Happy birthday Lainchan!
I guess things are somewhat better, I finished my degree, moved twice, and got a promotion. My family and coworkers constantly still ask me about why I am single and not dating. I have not spoken to a woman outside of work or school for around 10 years now, and I guess that makes me odd but whatever. Now Im just sitting back and watching the world become more of a cyberpunk dystopia everyday.

Probably just writing C++ code.
