Weird Text Adventure Game or SUPERPIMP

Rick Deckard · 2019-04-17 21:24
Hey lainons, I stumbled upon something I believe may interest you. Awhile ago I was scanning the wired and found a ftp server with a file called superpimp.tgz, and within it contained a text adventure game written in C about "hackers". I searched around the internet to see if it existed anywhere else but I had no luck, so I thought maybe someone here knows more about it. I haven't compiled it yet so it may contain malicious code, be cautious. Give me your thoughts. https://volafile.org/get/CKfYF-9EljYM_/superpimp.tgz // The file I found https://volafile.org/r/w6vt6xu4 // Files within superpimp

I'm not afraid to compile it and report back from the deep, anyone want to give any instruction to do so? The only compilation I've done is github software from source, with instructions and a makefile.

Hey, OP here The IP address that the domain name is assigned to is on Swedish VPS companies network called GleSYS (https://glesys.com/) and the TLD belongs to Mirio Limited (http://www.mirioltd.com/) but I'm not really sure what this company is or does. AbacusMud, the name >>11343 found, is some sort of thing for a game Chuck Dulin (http://www.umich.edu/~comm464/virtcomm/chuckyd/) made which could be played if connected to nuked.astrakan.hgs.se, the same TLD of the the email. I guess I stumbled upon a game that was never released by him for what ever reason. If anyone finds more one this please reply.
