I'm beginning a 24 hour celebration in memoriam of 2017, a tradition which I hope some of you share with me. Before I begin, I wanted to say a good word to you all. I found lainchan a couple years ago and the vibe here made it one of my favorite places on the internet.
I hope you all find happiness in this new year. Goodbye Lain, see you in 2018

Thank you lainon for the kind words. Of all the online communities I have participated in, i think lainchan truly is one of the comfiest. This last year has been one of the craziness that I have ever seen, but i can say it makes me really feel good that I got to experience it with all of you.
With any luck, 2018 may bring more good news, but it could just as easily bring more absurd news if nothing else. No matter what, I would want to experience the world with nobody else but you guys,
Lainchan is probably the closest thing I have to a family and friend group. so it really means a lot just to be able to have great discussions with you.
