Hello lains - just wanted tell each and every one of you that you are all incredible, wonderful, beautiful, alive creatures and I love that this all exists. I really hope we can all collectively make this coming new year the best we can, to fight for the things that are right and to treat ourselves and the world as best as we can. To build ourselves and the next in line a future we will want to live in. Times seem so uncertain, so much soykaf is brewing but I'd like to think that through places like this we can and will all come together and somehow make something out of this whole mess, that a place like lainchan represents hope for the global community of 'good' and society at large.. In this sense this is what lain means to me, she exists as us and with us and for us, our power to create and shape the world around us into a new, dynamic, beautiful being.. Or something like that. Anyways, I hope this message of good faith and hope will flow out and be received well by all. Here is to (hopefully) creating a future together we can all be proud of.. Happy holidays, everylain alike. Let's all do our best to be cognizant and remain stable so that we can collectively iterate this timeline unto its best possible specifications. Love, lain.

Merry Christmas Lainchan. And Merry Christmas to everyone on this site. We've had our differences on this site over the years but from the bottom of my heart I wish you all the best. I hope you guys can find happiness like I am. And if you're already happy, then you deserve a digital high five over the Wired. Pic totally related. Of course, one of my New Years resolutions is to stop using chans as a coping mechanism. So the ride ends here for now as far as imageboards are concerned. I want to thank this place for having a lot of info about computers even if people don't always agree about everything and spats come out. Also, it's nice that this place is nowhere near as bad as say, 8chan. And while I'm just a Lain in a sea of Lains, thanks for anyone who was willing to call me out on my soykafty arguments or at least reason with me. Sometimes I walked away from some debates or spats and realized I was in the wrong. People here don't get thanked enough for their posts. Hopefully, if I do come back for some fun posting (actual fun posting not the the try-to-forget pain posting I used to do), this place will still be a good place.

Thank you all for the kind responses so far. I think its important every now and then to show appreciation for one another and take stock in our own humanity.. Especially as we begin a new year, when we operate in accordance with the seasons, winter becomes a time to practice in the art of loss and growth - To hold fast and cut back and contemplate nature of the cycles of darkness and light so that the coming days of spring might be all that much better - old dead growth gives rise to new life.. And so on, something like that. >>6346 Xmas traditions in my family are to come together and spend time with one another, so I had a good time seeing relatives and doing general family affairs.. It was a nice holiday experience for all.
