What would you do with your life if it was possible for everyone to learn anything with the help of technology? If it ever became a reality I would just kill myself right on the spot. All of those hours spent on learning computer wizardy will be for nothing now any normal person can do anything I could do and more Pic unrelated

Maybe this is just my wishful thinking here, but if everyone was able to know everything, then we could spend more time utilising that knowledge. A lot of time is wasted (well, not wasted in the current state of things) learning, and besides the fact that learning can be fun, I'd welcome the change. On the other hand, it may be that because we are only able to learn so much, we are forced to specialise. Maybe were such technology to exist, we wouldn't know what to do with all that knowledge.

Just because it's possible for everyone to learn everything doesn't mean they'll do it. I would try to expand the frontiers of knowledge. Learn something completely new. That's all that would be left anyway.

are you fuarrrking kidding me OP >the collective knowledge of all mankind instantly flashed to your brain >but people won't think you're a hacker when they see you writing a bash script that sounds like a damn good deal to me
