Tattoos

Dougie Jones · 2017-09-12 04:11
So for a while I've had this tattoo idea in my head (pic related). This circuit is that of a crystal oscillator in a computer. It creates, essentially, the clock speed of a computer so in a way it's the beating heart of the computer. So naturally, I'd get this tattoo over my heart. What do ya'll think? Also if you have any neat computer tats drop a pic!

Damn that pic came out looking awful on this board geez

Not a fan of tattoos, but the schematic is using non-standard notation, it does not look like anything I have worked on, but it is readable enough. Think it over, also colour or black \& white? I would recommend a pure black \& white.

Not a big fan of tats but the idea is not that bad. Redrawn for cleaner look.

How do you guys think tattoos will evolve with technology? I recently had this idea, that you could insert minuscule particles that could change color instead of ink, sort of like pixels. This way you could have a tattoo that changes periodically or even a moving image, which sounds pretty nice and cyberpunk.

I thought of getting hacker tatoos too one day, but no cash. Including lain, shodan and pkd. Those are my ideas so far.

>>8273 I seriously hope your question is due to the relation, not who those are. If they are then you you need to be seriously slapped. If you ask about the reason, its reference to things that influenced me and might look cool.

That's not a nice oscillator circuit, get a one without Crystal instead!

>>5435 >>8264 Guy I met a while back was working on neuroelectrically operated tech - electrodes read nerve signals in muscles like those cyb as fuarrrk prosthetics, only for sending standard i/o commands to a pc instead of to a mechanical arm. Reading the impulses though requires consistent placement so he planned on getting tattoos for mapping the electrodes to his body accurately. soykaf like this - functional, and somewhat aesthetic, seems like a good first step. I ought to see if I can find him again.

Lásabrjótur (Lockbreaker). A magical rune (stave) that opens a lock without a key. "Lay the stave on the lock and breathe on it."

>>9683 That's fuarrrking great
Haruyoshi · 2018-11-29 07:36
>>9683 this is actually the method I use to get into my apartment If I ever get locked out. Much more effective than learning how to lockpick. The only downside is you look like a weirdo breathing on the lock enough to get it moist.
