Laintracker

Eldon Tyrell · 2017-09-07 00:56
Laintracker is a private torrent tracker website, owned and operated by Sophia Michelle Andren, aka "Seph". This information is not hard to find, nor is it anything private. It's plastered on the website she uses for academics (https://razorbelle.com), as well as a website set up for independent web projects (https://sandren.com). She presumably lives in New York City, falling within US jurisdiction. The US hates piracy, and will probably do anything to stop it, small and large, correct? So then torrent site owners should try to protect seizure of the site and the arrest of the owners with strong opsec, correct? Well then why is there someone running a torrent site, while linking personally identifying information to it? Because she doesn't understand what she's doing. She links her illegal site to her name and then links her paypal and coinbase to the funding of an illegal site. What the actual fuarrrk seph. If you don't want to get caught in a shut-down torrent site, leave laintracker now.

If she get caught I don't think she will be charged. Anyway if you want we can migrate the server to my house in two weeks or so(Italy)

>>5327 pretty sure all op wants to do is spew hate and vitriol. Maybe he didn't get enough attention in his life

If this is mostly accurate data, and from my experience with .jp users, it probably is, then it's silly that .jps owner isn't anon. I've seen seph reference that razorbelle website under her tripcode, so if that's legit then it's bad. Her saying it's not legit doesn't count.

afaik the "lainchan old guard" doesn't care about anonymity or OPSEC at all.
Ivan Horvat · 2017-09-09 03:21
>>5383 no guard, just her.
Tank · 2017-09-09 03:38
>>5384 >kalyx >Installgen2 >Ps3udonym all more or less public people
Batou · 2017-09-09 04:41
>>5376 what? come one. This is an actual concern for those who worry about laintrackers future and as well as seph's well being. Would make sense if domain was handled by njal.la and seph publicly transferred ownership of it.

Why do people make images like this?
Linda Lee · 2017-09-10 16:09
>>5396 Because it's easier to convey a point than a wall of text and linked images, reddit.
Bob Arctor · 2017-09-10 19:07
>>5405 I disagree.
Hong, Guil Dong · 2017-09-10 19:18
>>5405 Why did you call him reddit? I hate those things too, primarily because it encourages laziness. Other people save them and repost them because they can't do their own research or hold their ground in a discussion. Oh but someone made an infograph so it MUST be true. > wall of text Some of us like to read in general. It's ok.
Mentat · 2017-09-10 20:13
>>5408 >Oh but someone made an infograph so it MUST be true. this I fuarrrking hate. These images get shared around, and almost always they present either complete falsehoods or cherrypicking(although I don't see that on the OP here), and they have so much information on them that actually going through and verifying is impossible. I've seen this especially with stormfront soykaf. Plaster images and statistics you found on google images on a jpeg and post it around, and then assume that because nobody actually went through and disproved every single piece of evidence on there, the conclusion presented must be true.
Incognito · 2017-09-11 10:30
Hey, fück this OP.
Mentat · 2017-09-11 14:41
Seph is the reason why we need White Sharia.
Dox · 2017-09-11 17:15
On the one hand spreading your real name around associated with an illegal site is top tier dumb as fuarrrk. On the other the site is orders of magnitude too small to attract real attention and even if it does it's Seph's risk. I wouldn't worry about it but here's hoping it never becomes successful. Weird thing to say.
