Not sure if this really fits in the other boards, so it's here. Move if necessary. Anyone else here learning sign language? Can anyone provide any tips and resources? This is what I'm using so far: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs79SiE-PD3AUy2clzrSlog/videos

I've thought myself the alphabet (it was in my high school biology book) way back when, however I don't see how can I apply that in real life situations. I've never went in depth but I'm more than happy to try to learn it

Found this: https://www.startasl.com/learning-sign-language-asl1.html >>5287 Kek >>5285 I was somewhat wondering why I was learning it, as it doesn't seem to have mush use to me, given that I don't know any deaf. But I was thinking it can be used to communicate more subtly and also in loud situations

Im really interested in learning ASL. I am terrible at doing anything without a schedule so I called several local colleges. The price for a month of classes was $1,200 I really need to start managing a schedule on my own without having to make myself accountable to other people :/

>>8255 Right? I've learnt some BSL, but when I found difficulties even across English speaking countries I thought it was pretty ridiculous. There is the shared standards of BANZSL - British, Australian and New Zealand Sign Language, but I still think there are a decent amount of difference between all of them >>7705 I think this alphabet also is in the superset BANZSL
