Anarchy material

Otto Normalverbraucher · 2017-08-25 18:44
This is a thread for anarchy books, resources, research, blogs, etc.. This is not a thread for discussion, this is a dump thread. If you think anarchy is bad, this is not the place to start an argument about it. If you have some material to upload or recommend, then you're in the right place.

"A very short introduction of Anarchism" is probably a good first step if you're just trying to figure out what anarchy is about. They have a lot of recommendations inside the book for you to further research about it. It's only 120 pages long.

>>5151 Here's another great introductory text: http://www.ditext.com/woodcock/anarch.html The rest of the book is just the prologue expanded, so if you want a really short intro, just read that. The of course there's: https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/the-anarchist-faq-editorial-collective-an-anarchist-faq

Repost from a previous /lit/ share thread. The only one i read of those is let's become dangerous, but i didn't like it (another repost from that thread follows) Just read let's become dangerous, found it too romantic. Regarding anonimity, they forgot to say that Ulysses paid the act of shouting his name by being haunted by Poseidon, and in general the manifesto is quite appealing and well-written, but has no connection with reality and lacks of practical organization. Saying that an antifascist/anticapitalist alliance is a bad idea makes no sense and is dangerous: we are already few, if we begin to split in thousand little groups it will end up like spanish civil war. Ironically they call themselves "nichilists" but they are too ideologically driven to accomplish anything more than a few front pages on local newspapers. The only other anarchist paper i read was "at daggers drawn with the existent its defenders and its false critics" and i didn't liked it very much too. It seems to follow the same scheme of a lot of lefty papers (my mind goes to the accelerationist manifesto): -description of our actual world and how much soykafty it is and how much people are alienated -explanation of why it is like that -conclusion and call to action, but it's not clear which exactly Can someone reccomend me a not-too-ideological anarchist paper/manifesto/book etc.? I'll be very grateful!

>>5161 Maybe he his a radical anarchist who hates communists because thinks they're autoritarian and he grasped i was one of them by the way i write. Or maybe (more probably) he's just another newcomer alt-retard who doesn't know how this site used to be.

>This is not a thread for discussion, this is a dump thread. If you think anarchy is bad, this is not the place to start an argument about it. While cute, this is explicitly barred by the /r/ rules in the sticky; follows is the relevant part of the sticky: >Do not create threads in which no discussion is expected to occur, e.g. dumping threads. This thread is now locked.
