You and I, the one reading this, we are connected through what basically is an enormous neural network that we have no capability of truly understanding. We exist as nodes within the Net. Individual neurons. I want it to be let known that there is a reason why you are reading this right now. There are forces trying to upset the Net. Huge governmental forces of a collapsing empire.
Fortunately for us, they can never truly shut down the Net. We will exist in the shadows. We will expand the darknet, create meshnets, or even resort to dead drops and sneakernets.
These forces of this System have co-opted you since birth to believe that there is a certain kind of person that you are supposed to be and that your existence is simply limited to its own rules and regulations. This is a lie.
You are more than a career, or an identity. You are an enormously complicated being that is far more powerful than just that.
We cannot change the System, but we can create our own reality. Use whatever skills you have, whether it be painting, carpentry, coding, cracking, hacking, tinkering, screwing around, duct taping, stacking rocks, kludging, or whatever it may be, to create the reality that you desire.
Do your part of The Great Work, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Having read this, you are in It. Welcome.
P.S.: We exist as a loosely connected set of individuals. We will never fall under a label or a group name: this is our strength. You know who you are.

P.P.S.: Spread this idea far and wide. My intentions are that this becomes a seed or spore of some kind.
Stay woke, stay humble.

I really don't get your idea. Can you explain what do you mean by creating such thread?

To put it simply, I was getting a little irritated at the American government's apparent efforts to shut down net neutrality. I believe if they are successful in this fruitless endeavour it will create a new generation of hackers, cyberpunks, renegades, more or less a generation of "radicalized" individuals. Individuals with the knowledge that this overarching system wants their ideas to be quelled, much like it has done for centuries.
This is going to get a little Eastern. The basic reality of, well, reality, it cannot ever be completely defined. We can define aspects of it, we can predict particles and their trajectories and whatnot, and this DOES happen to be a very useful tool. However, there is far more to it than we can ever hope to define and put into words.
I think that Eastern philosophers described it much better than I can. The Tao that can be defined is not the eternal Tao.
This same idea is applicable to yourself as an individual. You can find after a certain amount of probing that the idea of the seperate self is an illusion. The ego is a construct, and much of that is composed of a false idea of what a person is and what our limitations are. Fears, anxieties, the limited scope of dreams that is drilled into us by this system. How we are told that the only kind of path that can exist is a job, followed by a career, followed by having children and retiring if you ever get so lucky.
I'm not sure what the hell the Great Work is, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be sweet! Really it's the combined work of individuals who have the naive belief that
a) There is a Better Way
and
b) I can do it myself
Finally, if you really need a way to brute force free your mind, I would recommend listening to Alan Watts' lecture Out of Your Mind extensively, and taking around 5 grams of good psilocybe cubensis off in the wilderness. I can't guarantee that this will work right off the bat, but it's a good start anyhow.

Has OP seen this thread: https://lainchan.org/r/res/3260.html
Creating a deconditioning/undoctrination program seems a great portion of "The Great Work"
