Making money online
Crazy Jake · 2017-07-10 09:45
Anyone here has advice on making money online? I know very little about programming, and I don't think I have any special skills or knowledge which could help me make money. I thought about getting in crypto-trading, but I don't have enough money to start investing. Can you make money by teaching a foreign language online? Or is programming the only way?

If you have degrees you can usually tutor subjects and make up to 20/hr, or you can teach ESL. check around, sometimes you can do Skype tutoring, there are a few professional sites out there

There are several ways I believe you can make money online. I don't think teaching a foreign language though, since there is already so much of it already.
But you can do graphic design, typesetting documents, translating stuff, blogging, streaming via twitch.tv, stuff like that.
There are other things that you can do like buy stuff from china and reselling on ebay. You could even avoid buying them yourself and just forward your buyer's request to your seller.
Or if you're the creative type and you have some product that you make at home, there are sites for that (forgot the name though).

A lot of Youtubers have been demonetised. Ebay has raised fees and taxes to the point where you can't make a profit, which leaves maybe Etsy, if you can make home crafts? Alibaba?
If you draw you could do commissions on Deviantart. Or Furaffinity, if you're willing to go bent for the rent.
I used to know a woman who did nothing but enter competitions and take surveys 24/7, but I think I'd flip out if I tried that. And the spam!
You could always camwhore. How nice are your legs? How much can you cram in your ass?
If you're a really good artist with a gift for technical drawing, Doug Holverson was looking for a new artist for Sci Fi Guy, and was going to pay top dollar, plus a slice of the profits.

How does freelance programming work anyway?
I've heard about a successful freelance programmer IRL. Apparently he just programs ten times faster than the average wage slave, so companies approach him when they're in a huge hurry to get something finished. The guy started programming when he was twelve years old or something. Must be nice.

I started when I was 13 or 14, and I'm still soykaf at it. Of course I work in IT now and not exactly software development

I'm not the OP, but this really caught my attention. But looks like this thread is dead.
Some laions asked about running a bunch of VMs, instead of using a rack. Is it really possible? If so, what should I do to automate those tasks? Is it still feasible?

Is naked like some kind of trading jargon or are you literally not wearing clothes?
