NK vs SK

As you might have heard, recently North Korea has successfully test fired an ICBM and along with it came a whole soykafstorm of geopolitical nonsense. And while it isn't confirmed whether or not it has the ability to carry a nuclear warhead, judging from the speed of their development i'd say it is highly likely that those features would be complete during trump's term in office. So, everyone's been ignoring NK all this time but now that they have ICBM's, what do you think is going to happen? Will a war actually break out or will this crisis fizz out like usual?

A NK-SK war would be a stalemate. Their border would make a land invasion complicated at best. NK doing a naval invasion of SK would be stopped by the US fleet. The USA bombing NK with conventional bombs would soften up NK but it would still become a war of attrition due to NKs military manpower. However, everyone is fed up with North Korea. I think that if the USA struck a deal with China and Russia to attack North Korea but to keep N. Korean lands outside american influence, all three could gang up on N. Korea. And then N. Korea would be fuarrrked. Anyways fuarrrk N. Korea for renouncing socialism and implementing their silly Juche or whatever.

NK won't do soykaf. China keeps them on a short leash, and the last thing China wants right now is a global war, which an NK attack would cause.
