Tell me about your waifu (or husbando) lainanon

Akari is a polite red-haired girl who is supposedly the main protagonist of the series. However, due to her rather small presence and plain personality, she is often forgotten about or pushed into the background. One of her few features is hair dumplings which sometimes come off strangely. She is often thought of as having the ability to fire her hair dumplings and turn invisible whilst shouting "Akkari~n!". Kyōko and Yui are her childhood friends, while Chinatsu, Sakurako and Himawari are her classmates.

Wrench, from Watch Dogs 2. He's just so confident and likeable, with his destructive behavior and creative talent. I love his enjoyment of 80's movies and working with electronics. He's more Hardware oriented hacker than the other main areas of interest. Oh, and he loves smashing soykaf.

this might seem like a stupid question, but what is the significance of a waifu/husbando? is it just a character you like a lot/feel really attached to? do you consciously choose who it is or realize it over time? there are many characters i like, and many that i feel a greater connection to, but none (yet, at least) that i feel so strong of a bond with to think of them on a level higher than the others
