Any cubers here?
What's your main method / cube?
I'm using a GTSv1 with the dual core and magnets. Restickered it in full fitted because I like the look better and was having trouble with the red / orange on the stock shades.
Weight 0.1 from SCS on the core, and DNM37 on the edges. Tensions very loose with medium spring tensions.
Got to a PB of 20.25 with CFOP but I've been learning Roux because it's a tonne more fun, so my times gone to soykaf again.
Will I ever get good? Who knows. Share your cubing stories below

Casual cuber here, 3x3 takes me like a minute, maybe 45s if I warm up a bit. As for method, I think everyone does the first 2 layers by feel and roughly the same? Bottom layer I do OLL and PLL in 2 steps each, because casual.
Main cube is a Dayan ZhanChi that desperately needs relubing. Very recently purchased a Cyclone Boys FeiTing 4x4. I thought 4x4 would present a new interesting challenge but it was disappointingly easy to reduce the problem size to a 3x3. Only algo I really needed to look up was the edge parity flip.
I really like stickerless cubes for their aesthetic but they're honestly bad for me because I'm colourblind, so I can't replace the problematic colours. I have no real ambition to learn a new method to get better times. I'd rather learn extend my existing knowledge by learning NxN or maybe blindfold.

The method I'm learning is to make a 3*2*1 block on each side of the cube, then Orient and Permutate all the corners, then Orient all the edges, fill in the left and right edges, then permutate the middle layer. Very fun and quite different to standard Fridrich.
I have a Dayan, served me ok but I think its definitely starting to show its age.
Have you tried something like Square-1? Can't be as easily reduced and is very fun

There were some flash based four and five dimensional cube puzzles online a few years ago (probably still are) if you want to give yourself an aneurysm.

I'm too much of a fuarrrking idiot to wrap my head around those :/

I dislike to solve with methods red online, so I invented my way to solve it with this commutator of mine: FR'F'R (I do this with the edge on front, not the face).
With this, the cubes are puzzle, I don't search for speed :-)
Ps: for the parity of the even cubes I have invented an alg that unfortunately doesn't use my commutator.

i have a thunderclap. it's mostly around so i can have something to do with my hands, but if i pay attention it probably takes me around two minutes to solve it. i only know the super basic method taught in the little guides that come with the cube.

I am not a cuber, but perhaps I may post in this thread. I own a vanilla Rubik's Cube, but here is the part that you may find interesting: I have not memorized any of the algorithms for solving. When I have it on me, I use it to relieve stress and to get my mind off my problems. I may solve one to two sides, but then I mess it up again.
Did any of you start similarly?

I started a little while ago and it happens the same to me.
Sometimes I feel the urge to take a look at an algorithm to solve it but back off because I'd feel like a cheater.

Yeah, I started out like this. You should be reasonably able to take a layered approach and solve the top two layers, i.e. having a 3x3x2 area solved. I tried to figure out the last layer by myself for a while, but I just had to give up.

my main is a Valk 3, official pb is 10.69, unofficial is 7.87. been cubing for about two years had alot of fun with it and still cube almost daily but i havent learnt any new algs or anything in like a year. Id really like to learn blind finally after so many failed attempts if only uni wasnt so demanding
