On the Current State of Europe

Morpheus · 2017-05-13 05:26
I often worry about how Europe is going to end up due to the refugee crisis, and how millions of criminal, uneducated men who are prone to rape and hatred for those who are not one of their own is going to destroy it, especially since Macron won and said that terrorism is just "going to be a fact of life." You try to talk about it with people online, but the liberals just shut you down and automatically buy into what their governments (or at least their political party) is telling them. But you talk to conservatives and reactionaries, and it is usually the case that they are pretty uneducated, and yet do have the inner strength to deal with the problems directly and effectively. So, I want to ask Europeans on this chan this: how are your countries doing right now, concerning this? Is it really as bad as the right-wingers say that it is? Do European women walk the streets in fear that someone will rape them, or do they not even feel safe in their homes? It really does seem that the governments aren't doing anything to stop the problem, or at least, not enough. So, how are things over in Europe in your eyes?(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST (Rule 3,4),Always argue in good faith,Always elaborate on your opinions.)
The Plague · 2017-05-13 07:18
I live in Germany, so I feel sort of qualified to talk about this. The impact of the refugee crisis on my life is fairly minimal: A slight increase in darker skinned people when I'm in town and a refugee soccer team that trains parallel to my club at a public sports facility. That being said, it might be the case that it had a bigger impact on the people living in poorer areas, as that's the more likely place for refugees to be housed. A *lot* of refugee quarters are also in smaller villages in the countryside because houses there are a lot cheaper. I personally don't really buy into the "end of European civilization" narrative. I don't think that a few million people will be enough to undermine a tradition that has proven so efficient economically. One big problem is, that the only available alternative to the main political parties is a movement that is incredibly anti-intelectual (climate change deniers, flat-earthers, hatred of academic institutions) and therefore has the same "cultural destructive potential" as radical Islam. Honestly, we'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out. I don't think this dynamic of very angry uneducated people versus dishonest, delusional elites can be stopped or reversed at this point.
Tank · 2017-05-13 08:15
I dont see the refugees as enemies, i see the people who let them in as the real enemies. As you said the conservatives are dumb and liberals are ignorant. And refugees are certainly not the only and probably not the most pressing issues either over here. I see no chance for this so called society and can only hope that someone will take charge and change things to build a new society where the rational and reasonable have the say. For now i have no choice but to wait and see what happens and think of what to do. Politics since the introduction of democracy has been a emotional soykaffest, as much as any other field. Its all about impressions, reputation and the feel good factor. All problems are being swept under the carpet and people look the other way, but thats nothing new. I have no sympathies for my so called fellow men and especially the women, they can all burn in hell.(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST (Rule 3,4), Always argue in good faith, and always elaborate on your opinions, Why do you see no chance ? Why should there be a world were a select few take charge? And based on such an arbitrary condition? What does "rational" or "reasonable" ever really mean? >and especially the women Yeesh. I feel welcomed. Is it because we're less "rational"/"reasonable" or something?(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST (Rule 4,5), Always elaborate on your opinions, why are you asking these questions , what are your own viewpoints ? or the hypothetical viewpoints ? )

I live in Sweden and things are fine. 100 criminals out of a few million doesnt qualify the whole group as of that demography. Give it 50 years and the same nationalists being against taking in people fleeing from war will brag about how kind their nation is. Most of the soykaf you hear is made up by people living in their own fantasy, both deluded americans larping and bitter european far righters. This wont be the end of European civilization, 2-5 million cant destroy a 500 million, Russia is 20% percent and is coping just fine.

Jane Doe · 2017-05-13 09:25
hello, polen here. Refugees are just another scare tactic, our government is socially left and culturally right(so Catholicism + pretty well developed social help). Official TV(so tvp1 and tvp2) pushes the government agenda pretty well(for example by the end of the news there's a part where they show you a video of some "enemy" politician speaking and tell you why his words are "wrong" or "falsification"). People who say something not sitting well with current rules(especially people working at radio) lose their jobs. I am a glitterboy and i don't really care, because people from my country live rather private lives and being open about who you are is seen as something unwanted(with strangers, i mean). But on topic, i don't think there was any terrorism attack in my country, might be cause most of the society is at least a bit "right-wing"(God, Honor, Fatherland), so people who are "different" are not as welcome as in other countries. About european civilization. Let it burn, i don't get that fear about the end of it. It's normal, isn't it? Stuff starts, it goes on and ends. I sorta feel it has a connection to general tactic in today's media i watched some american documentary about Yellowstone exploding and it was constant fear and spook, like today's society can't deal with the fact that "ending"/death exist
Y.T · 2017-05-13 10:05
Swiss Lain here. The only way the refugee crisis has affected our country is politics. Right-wing parties like the SVP have experienced an increase in supporters and are now one of the strongest parties in the national council. Other than that, not much has changed. I still feel just as safe walking down the street as I did 10 years ago. Also, according to statistics the amount of refugee applications hasn't increased too much over the last couple of years. Things are okay, I guess. Seems like we're having much less troubles here than Germany or France.
Special Agent Bob · 2017-05-13 14:01
German here, the only case where the whole refugee thing has been visible in my life is a family of Yazidis (that's genuine "IS trying to commit genocide" level) that are now living in the town I'm from who are still struggling to find work, but seem to get along fine with everybody so far. Those aren't single muslim males though.
Faye Valentine · 2017-05-13 19:44
>>2525 >like today's society can't deal with the fact that "ending"/death exist No society has ever been able to visualize its own collapse. The fact that it's becoming obvious to most people that it's starting to crumble is a sign that it is, in fact, starting to crumble, and a radical shift in structure is at hand.

Another polish lainon here. In my country 'the imigration crisis' is just another political game, just another way of dividing people. Lain from Vienna here. > how are your countries doing right now, concerning this? Things slowed down, at least that's what the media portrays. All in all this is a huge waste of money and resources. For years they told us that we don't have enough money for our pupils or infrastructure but suddenly it's fine and morally imperative to spend a very sizable amount of money on non Europeans. And it's not even a one time thing, these people will be a burden for the tax payers for generations to come. You just need to take a look at the Turkish community across Europe to see where the voyage is going. Honestly, in my view the Austrian politicians who acted in accordance with Merkel should be in prison. On top of that there is still no real solution to this situation. It's a mess. Sad. On a less meta level things are settling I guess. There were a few really ugly cases involving "refugees" and I know that train stations in Innsbruck and Linz at night are now places to avoid. That was not the case few years ago. Vienna itself is still okay I think. But here we already had a large influx of foreign (read: brown) people since at least 20 years and have a government who spends money like there is no tomorrow. > Is it really as bad as the right-wingers say that it is? I'm not exactly on the "Refugees welcome" train as you can see yourself but American Media is rather sensationalist on this issue. > Do European women walk the streets in fear that someone will rape them, or do they not even feel safe in their homes? My girlfriend feels rather safe as I can see but like I said, Vienna is all in all a safe city. > So, how are things over in Europe in your eyes? I really hope they start to implement real solutions very soon. And with this I mean that Europe shuts down the asylum loophole which is used for migration. They are economic migrants period. And while it's really hard for skilled workers to come to Europe all you only need to do is throw away your passport and shout "Asylum" and suddenly the state has no handle to get rid of you whatsoever and has to care of you ad infinitum.
Joe Bloggs · 2017-05-15 10:55
Croatia here. So, we're a big transit nation for the refugees. As in many, maybe most refugees go trough here. Nothing of note happened. There are some murmurs on the street, but it's generally life as usual.

German Lainon here. The refugee crisis IS a problem. At least where I live. You can tell that a lot of people are scared by the refugees. The "Refugees Welcome" people usually live in their suburban houses and rarely meet any of them. Most drug dealers in my area are arabs. They form gangs and are violent. A very small village nearby had to take in a ton of refugees, and it feels as half the village is from the middle east or Africa. I see multiple problems with accepting refugees. 1. A lot of "economic refugees" who were not in danger in their home countries 2. Most of them follow Islam. And yes I think Islam is a dangerous religion. Everyone who says that Islam is a religion of peace should read the quran. 3. I'm not an ethnic German. I'm a immigrant myself. But a demographic change is awful for the German culture. Mass immigration of people who oppose the German culture and get at least twice as many children will destroy German culture. 4. They are viollent. They commit more crimes. They don't integrate. Of course not everyone of them is a that bad. But would you eat 10 apples if you knew one of them is poisoned? I'm not against immigration. I'm not against diversity. But mass immigration from people with a completly different culture and morals who don't integrate but form parallel societies in your own country is bullsoykaf.

>>2636 >But would you eat 10 apples if you knew one of them is poisoned? Take the common sense route and test the apples for poison, and plan a hospital visit in the small off chance that the tests failed? You need fruit to be healthy, and you eat other assorted fruits each day that might be bad for you. Apples may have a bad rap, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give them a try. I really don't understand why the refugee crisis is so polarized. Why can't people take the middle road, let a bunch of refugees in, teach them european law, dont give them the blind eye, and let them find work. Nobody completely wins, but no one completely looses either, and these poor bastards dont have to deal with war and ISIS, plus they get to live in the first world. If some of them commit serious crimes, send those ones back instead of the whole bunch.

>>2639 >would test apples for poison and have hospital visit already planned out alongside with enforced protection Literally the opposite of what Germany did with refugees. >I really don't understand why the refugee crisis is so polarized. The "refugees" aren't refugees. Most of them aren't escaping war torn areas. Most of them don't care about safety. Most of them are uneducated. Most of them are self entitled brats that want money. You can't teach someone swedish if that person doesn't want to learn swedish. You can't teach someone european law or common western culture when they think of it as "subhuman" and "soykafty culture". "Don't give them the blind eye" is nice idea, but all politicians did exactly the opposite. They just let them be and roam around doing whatever they want. >Do European women walk the streets in fear that someone will rape them, or do they not even feel safe in their homes? This is a silly exaggeration. Go to Amsterdam. White people buy their party drugs from brown people in the middle of the street and don't give a soykaf. >It really does seem that the governments aren't doing anything to stop the problem, or at least, not enough. Oh don't worry, they are actively making everything worse. But you are not looking at the causes and so you will only be able to propose band-aid solutions. You seem to acknowledge that reactionaries don't know what they're doing either, but by framing your entire thread around us-versus-them and "millions of criminal, uneducated men prone to rape" then you are already giving in to the same good old-fashioned tribalism. Allow me to get to the point. The reason Europe is getting overrun by refugees is because uncle sam fuarrrked up Iraq and Syria. The reason that happened is because they want to put down a pipeline between Turkey and Qatar so they can win their economic war with Russia. That's the direct cause. So maybe, instead of complaining about how Europe is too soft, the Americans should do something about their government's oil addiction. They should do something about interventionism. They should do something about their deregulated, consolidated and completely corrupt media, the kind that tricked millions of people into supporting the Iraq war. Get cracking, please!

>>2893 Why do you want the regulation of the media when you've postulated that the problem is Uncle Sam? Regulation of media would be censorship. I don't like garbage but I don't want my government deciding what is and isn't garbage. I'll do that for myself, thank you.

>>2893 >The reason Europe is getting overrun by refugees is because uncle sam fuarrrked up Iraq and Syria. You sound like a edgy 17 year old. Muh evil uncle sam the imperialist!! I mean Iraq and Syria didn't help, that's true. But the causes are much more complicated and nuanced. A very large bulk of the economic migrants are not even from these countries. And yes, Europe is too soft. These people are a huge economic and sociological burden. Just take a look at the publicized figures of Sweden, Norway or Switzerland regarding the costs. But there is not enough political will to change anything and if I'm allowed to wear my tin foil hat then I would say that it seems like the powers that be welcome a weakening of the homogeneous western society.

>>2894 Allow me to explain myself. Media cross-ownership used to be regulated. When it was deregulated, this led to the rise of a handful of media corporations. Deregulation didn't result in freedom of speech and all that jazz. It led to a kind of centralization, which made it easier to just bribe the media and control most of the narrative. This makes it easier to trick people into supporting war. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telecommunications_Act_of_1996 >not one, but two people get angry when I say "uncle sam" Calling the US nicknames makes me edgy now? >>2901 I guess you are an US citizen because you have quite a American centric view which is fine, but rather odd given the topic at hand. But again, in my opinion I don't think the "refugee" issue is due to US involvement. Sure it would be nice if America would call out their Allies like Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia for breaking international law. Besides they are also training the rebels and sending arms, right? No matter what, it's just geopolitics 101. I think the European Refugee issue is much more interesting since it can't be explained that easily. Nobody has any stakes in here and having these people in Europe doesn't serve any obvious purpose. Again, I think the whole issue is due to 68ers politicians with a bleeding heart, in other words 'Europe' being soft. On the issue of cause, I think that without Germany officially stating that every Syrian (and everyone that can obtain an illegal Syrian passport) can stay in Germany. That's a huge pull for people of the 3rd world. And let's face the facts, Asylum is a loophole for people of non developed countries to migrate to Europe. No way any of these people could come here legally otherwise. So that was a perfect chance.

Norway. Low friction at the moment, demographic distribution is largely confined to zones that lies at the urban peripheries. Recent news of car bombings, police speak of upsurge in youth violence and gangs. It's believed that the Swedish concept of "no-go" zones is approaching. I anticipate ugliness. Europe is geographically small, American white flight endemic of recent decades is not an option. Westerners have a frustratingly poor grasp of time and little consciousness of exponential effects. Demographic replacement is a key issue over the next decades. People look at countries like France and say, there's "only" 9.6% Muslim. Meaningless number considering few boomers are of foreign ethnicities. What if you break it into age cohorts? https://pjmedia.com/blog/latest-survey-finds-25-of-french-teenagers-are-muslims/ Stats have since become more difficult to obtain. But in some ways both France, UK and Germany and smaller countries with widely disproportional birth rates between ethnic groups are pregnant with this problem. Time is the enemy. Am confident Eastern Europe can and will address their issues. As long as they can route around EUs passionate desire to collectively submerge every member state with face changing immigration. Which it appears they will manage. (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/the-latest-6-central-europe-nations-vow-unity-on-migration/2017/06/19/98fc4a70-54f9-11e7-840b-512026319da7_story.html?utm_term=.8e58ec8e3d94) West Europe's altruistic sense overpowers both sense and ability to accordingly react, which only compounds the damage over time. I also believe there are interesting evolutionary underpinnings for the West/East behavioral divide (https://hbdchick.wordpress.com/2014/03/10/big-summary-post-on-the-hajnal-line/), but I am also not excluding possible effects of cultural institutional forces like the Church in countries like Poland to act as a buffer against universalist memes. Anyways, I think it has become clear to most that the damage will arrive sooner than many anticipated. This is good, IMHO. The less roots to upend the less hurt -- this is a compounding issue where time is the enemy. Merkel and May has all made it clear how far they will go to curtail dissent. This is the cyberpunk prologue story where the surveillance state is born. Dissenting political parties are imbecilic. Consensus is substituted with opinion marketeers. American social schizophrenia is spreading into the European circuit. And heavens know what will become of this (http://www.unz.com/isteve/ageing-europe-could-benefit-from-refugees-and-migrants-un/) "Human Rights" political protocol makes for cruel game theory, attack it and they will invoke deep morality, which makes for effective kryptonite where political systems implemented under Human Rights acts are given arcane protection against rationality and skepticism. My only hope is that somewhere like London or Sweden will taste catastrophe before others, and from that horror the altruistic dreamstate turns into Silent Hill madness. Don't know what the solutions will look like, be it re-immigrating them or worst case, exit politics, the abandoning of a sinking ship. TL;DR: East Europe will prevail West Europe is about to get really shaky. Long-term effects hurts worse, but is too diffused to cause reaction.

Nanashi No Gombe · 2017-06-25 21:43
>>3586 I think a key error lies in thinking we've got anything else than pipe dreams. 2016 should've served as a gentle message that the road is dark from here on and late 20th century meta-narratives about humanistic monism won't follow us for much longer. European Universalism doesn't particularly appeal to anyone other than Western Europeans. The conflict-minimizing liberal's desired outcome rests on ethnic osmosis outpacing catastrophe which to me seems unlikely. There's no melting pot, Europe is predominantly housing Muslims with firm identity which will only grow firmer as we become increasingly unattractive as western culture increasingly fails to produce answers aside from meek lyricism about goodwill. Social media routes around cultural isolation and integration effort, e.g. Turks are now in full participation with local Turkish events and friends/family in homeland, this trend will accelerate as more technology allows for stable meta-identities and living (20th century integration planning now obsolete). Had large scale ethnic osmosis happened it would also entail non-trivial net IQ loss, if both Eastern Europe and East Asia are exempted from this the plausible outcome to seems that more power would gravitate towards those countries, especially East Asia which seems particularly potent at identifying liberal and postmodern arguments as damage.

Multiculturalism thus destroys any semblance of national or cultural identity that these countries had, making them into a bland mix that tastes the same everywhere you go to in the "new" western world, unifying Europe under this false new flag and destabilizing it. Lady 3Jane.. · 2017-06-26 10:20
>>3592 The reason I don't entertain 20th century notions of multiculturalism is because I think it's a moot point, technology in large has done with the notion that we have separate lanes. Europe doesn't have the geography for any sort of co-habitation resembling North American countries (including Mexico). Democracy does not offer multiple pies. That Labour caused this underfunding in the first place during Blair's terms through the PFI deals, and now claim it's the Tories privatising the NHS pisses me off a little. I'm also a little concerned about housing prices in the near future and all that jazz. More broadly, the refugee crisis is seeded a bit deeper than you'd think. The whole issue of 'refugee crisis' is blown out of proportion in the interests of the ruling elites. Since 2008 our Western economic system is in the state of constant recession. The only answer this system had for the masses was introduction of austerity policies that simply led to thousands of people finding themselves worse-off than ever before. With the tightening of the belt that leads to slow crumbling of the remnants of the Keynesian era of welfare-for-all, times become desperate, both for simple folks and for the fat cats at the top. Refugee crisis, caused by the 20+ years of Western interventions in the Middle-East that led to complete destabilisation in the region, can serve as a nice attention-grab for the disgruntled masses of poor people that were left behind. This is why the far-right demagogues have quite a significant support among the working class white communities, not only here in Europe but in the US as well. I think that those people running away from their own countries torn apart by the Western interventionism and the reaction to it are simply used by the ruling class and liberal elite as a ploy to try to stay afloat in this era of capitalist collapse. The last thing the establishment would like to see is for the people to realise that it is inherently the socio-economic system that had failed us. It's safer for them to blame it on refugees/migrants/muslims - you name it. Kinda reminiscent of 30's when the Western world was in utter shambles due to the Great Depression. Only now the elites supplanted 'Jews' for other scarecrows. We'll see how it'll end.

OP here. I was actually derezzed for a few days or weeks due to writing this, but I didn't know that until it had already expired due to me rarely posting on imageboards anymore. I haven't even seriously been on 4chan for at least four years, probably a little more. As an aside, I was permanently derezzed from 420chan right after Macron won, but that place is full of degenerates and I never really learned anything worthwhile there, so I'm not too mad about it outside of toxic liberalism and the fact that I can't observe the bizarre personal problems of junkies anymore. I guess that what motivates me to write anything like this is the belief that I have that Muslims have raped, enslaved and impregnated white women and Christians much more than we've done to their women, and while I've tried to find proof that this isn't so, I've yet to. I've had this belief since the time I had a roommate who looked at alternative, right-wing news sources, and I moved away from there two years ago. I spend many hours of my time privately researching it, talking about it online (it is amazing how many people will just shut you down and say that you are wrong even when they have no proof), asking questions about it on I Ching, and I don't know what to make of the results. It really seems like I am correct, and that in the future Europe will be overrun by those psychopathic chimpanzees (excuse the slur) and white women will be raped and forced to give birth to Muslim children. It makes me sick. European men don't seem to be doing anything to protect their women; everyone seems to be in massive denial. Muslim women are not raped by white men in the slightest in today's world and most Muslim women take sadistic glee in seeing non-Muslim women raped and abused by their men. I'm sorry if this is "racist" and if it violates rules again. But I really have to be honest about what I believe in if there is going to be any progress, and you should hear about it because if I just held my tongue and played into the current nonsense that is force-fed to us, none of us would realize that anything could be potentially wrong, and we would never solve anything.

>>3613 It is worse because when a Muslim rapes a white woman, it is typically very violent and ends up with her body permanently disfigured. When a white man rapes a white woman, it generally isn't that violent. It should also be said that white men basically never rape Muslim women, and history shows that millions of white women and Christian women were sexually enslaved and impregnated by Muslim men while abused by their Muslim wives, and when you try to find evidence of white men or Christian men doing this to Muslim women to even any serious extent, it simply is not there. Christianity teaches cowardice, and white women in general would love a little chimp baby born from their rape and force their white family and country to be forever stained, and such cases will only accumulate. Muslim women, on the other hand, have no love for any child born from rape, and not only is that little rape chimp killed (something I actually support) but the raped woman is usually killed as well in Muslim societies. Not to mention how Muslim women have not been raped en masse by kuffars in Muslim countries (at least by white people) and they have never experienced any population boom due to having their women raped and impregnated by outsiders. However, this has happened to white women many, MANY times. This interracial empathy that only white people have is destroying us. We think that Muslims mean us any good, when they do not. We believe that we've done the same things to them as they have to us, but we haven't. We think that we are more evil than they are, but we are not. Europe is currently being chimped out, and no one has the courage to stop those animals. If you want to prove me wrong about what I have said, you can, but I doubt that you will be able to. Rape is in the Muslim's blood; they are a tainted, evil tribe of animals. You all like to think that we are all equal in our flaws, but we are not. We've never harmed their women through mass rape, sexual slavery and forced pregnancy and now we're going to face extinction.

>>3649 We aren't the strongest anymore. And in a way, we never were. Christianity emasculated white people and taught them to forgive the ones who harm them and to never harm the women of your enemy. Islam ensures that you never forgive and that you will take the women of your enemy as a sexual prize. We should have done that to Muslim women, but we didn't, because we are simply too emotionally weak. We've grown to be cowards, believing that Muslims have the same kind of hearts as us, when they do not.

On the Muslim side, there is the harvesting of slaves from Iberia, the Balkans, the Mediterranean, the Caucasus, Ukraine, the Armenian genocide, Boko Haram, ISIS, and so on. Where are all the poor raped Muslim women who were victimized by white men or non-Muslims? Oh, that's right, they never fuarrrking existed, idiot. Sure accepting them means increasing criminality and terrorism, but moving to a richer country also helps them enormously, it alleviates a lot of suffering. Whether it's a good idea is found by measuring the damages of either policy position and to see which is larger. Giving that terrorism is very rare (from cursory googling it seems less than a couple thousand a year), I would be very surprised if the improved lifestyle of the immigrants doesn't outperform that easily. Cultural friction is an important and difficult problem with no easy answers, but I don't think avoiding it is worth the cost to the people denied entry.

>>3630 So far science had not had any success in proving that anything is 100% surely genetic knowledge. Also what you described is created trough a process that is basically social conditioning. In fact the pure existence of people who do not act like that vs people who act more like that(it's on a scale) basically proves that it's social conditioning. Especially among people who have lived in positive multicultura/internationalist environments, behaviour like the way you have described is rare. Instincts=/=genetic knowledge. instincts are more like behaviour patterns, that is they are not knowledge at all(even though they might be derived from knowledge). Just because something is an instinct, doesn't mean it's not socially or culturally conditioned. Therefore it's a spook.

You keep repeating how horrible they are and how they should be stopped, but your suggestions are to act just as barbaric as they do (fight rape with rape). That would make it perfectly justifiable for someone to stop you in the same manner. In order to fulfill this sex fantasy of yours where you get to rape all these Arab women you might have to put the iPhone down and stop arguing on the internet for a while, then hit the gym as a start. >>3663 >And big media did not make a sensation out of this because it is barely even newsworthy Intentions of big media can't be properly predicted. To me it sounds like they are covering up the stories (to you something else) for fear of repercussions and backlash, as you are well aware of our soccer gangs which are more than right wing. Both of us can be wrong however, this is what happens when subjective opinions clash, nobody knows what is right or wrong. Now, to you it might not be a big deal, but of course your weren't one of the people you got your car smashed and your things stolen. You weren't one of the kids that got beaten up and had their bikes stolen. If it isn't such a big deal why don't you take in a dozen of "refugees"? I am "panicking" because this is a sign of things to come. This is just a start, trust me. Our prime minister AND our president are pushing for EU-rification of Croatia which means we will bend our asses to EU as much as possible, which means more "refugees" sent to us. THEN we will see how "big deal" this all will be. Until then don't try to minimize "refugees" (aka illegals looking for gov handouts that crossed 8 borders until "closest safe country") impact and don't try to have blinders on what they are doing. >>3692 Dude, it has been proven that infants LEARN the language, not by going to school, but LEARN it simply by listening to it and combining it with visual hints. Any language. Of course though your mother tongue affects how difficult it will be for you to learn secondary languages depending on similarity to your mother tongue. >>3676 >Just a question... if property is a spook then why do you have things? Why don't you just give them to me? Property is a spook. However that does not mean that I must give it to you just because you asked for it. Here's what Stirner thinks of property: Property is anything upon which an individual can exert his power to take it as his own. In other words, if you can take it, it's yours. Or since you asked for my property, here's the other way around: It's yours if you can steal it from my cold dead hands. >>3695 Dude, the fact that it's LEARNED means it's not genetic knowledge. You could literally take a just born white infant from England, give him to foster parents in Japan and when he grows up, there would be no difference between him and other Japanese people other than his skin colour and eyes. >That there is genetical instinct. No, what >>3666 was talking about and therefore by extension you should have talked is 'Genetic knowledge'. And genetic knowledge is by definition a very DIFFERENT thing from instincts.

A violent one if I might add. >and therefore by extension you should have talked is 'Genetic knowledge'. And genetic knowledge is by definition a very DIFFERENT thing from instincts. trying to deny genetic knowledge is like trying to deny people having the ability to manipulate time and space. Genetic knowledge doesn't exist in same sense that beavers that never lived near a river that had trees around couldn't build dams. So, in conclusion, children can only learn a language because ... ? Common, it's not that hard. Genetic knowledge doesn't exist, genetic instinct to react to environment in expected way does.
