>>>/Ω/25002 This is now HTTP 404 Not Found (was a tech support thread). Is there an archive? If there is not, does anybody have an archive? Who and on what basis deletes such threads? What written information is available on that? >>268 Spent a minute there, haven't seen 25002. Been through rules and faq again, closest is "felt off the board due to old age", but there are threads from 2018. Image "404 - common sense not found" by Kim Bach is licensed with CC BY-SA 2.0. >>9155 See the stickied thread https://lainchan.org/q/res/268.html regarding archive / archives. Regarding Who and on what basis deletes such threads? What written information is available on that? See the source code of the software for the answer to that, specifically https://github.com/lainchan/lainchan/blob/master/inc/functions.php#L1286 . E.g. threads get deleted when the number of threads is higher than the number of thread per board limit (max pages per board multiplied by threads per page) . The clean function is called when posts are made or moved. Of course threads can be manually deleted by Lainchan staff, but this isn't what happened here. Regarding the thread you mentioned, see attached image, it was unstickied on 2020-07-16 21:39:41 and deleted on 2020-08-08 04:37:55 | Automatically deleting thread #25002 due to new thread #30756 by the software's automatic old thread deletion mechanism.
