Reason for deleting threads?

Recently my thread in /r/ about discussing south Koreans culture change in the recent years has been deleted. I checked the rules again, I couldn't figure out what rule I broke.

Was it rule 4? Was this an opinion? I think it's a fact that South Korea has created a new superficial culture within 25 years. It doesn't mean that they don't have their old culture, but the first thing that comes to mind of every 18-30 year old when they hear "South Korea" is K-Pop.

>>9083 >>9084 As you've already pointed out it was deleted due rule 4 violation. The thread topic is fine but the opening post was poor. What makes you say that South Korean culture is superficial? Can you show some examples? How's their current culture different from their old one? What role does K-Pop have in this? These are just some example questions you could've asked yourself and tried to answer while writing the opening post.

>>9085 Alright, thanks for pointing out my mistake, I will do better next time. I also searched for some list like lainchan.org/bans just for deleted posts. Would definitely bring some transparency.
