Bees being found loaded with aluminum is true and trivially searchable. People were saying this 10 years ago before places like Havard finally saw a climate of opportunism and gained the balls to report on it. There's also an RF component, and considering ion cyclotron resonance of Al3+ and the nano aluminum oxides/hydroxides, that's bound to cause some damage.
Very frustrating.
Cowboy · 2020-05-02 16:30

What's actually frustrating is that when people overly mod the entire net the one place that is okay with bantering becomes killed by such actions too, as it's thus injected by any and all undesirables of the entire Internet that were rejected.
It's the only reason I'm here. You too probably. Such sites that can't handle freedom of speech are just bad, without venting about why. This place is a chan site, they generally just let people say what they want about anything. Other sites like 4 chan range ban for money now, 8 died and never brought back boards so it has less traffic than here, wizchan less than here too, so some people come here. There are many other places, reddit's voat, raddle, etc, many chan sites, but the more there are the more they divide people. The narcissistic mods divide people, and to make things worse end up DICTATING what they think the mob's culture should be. They bend the rules as they do so, to try to act like a literal snobby ass king.

A 31 year old who used to post on /r9k/ when it was "good" but now he doesn't because it's full of normal users. He also posted on wizchan and 8chan but those places suffered the same faith, or that's what he believes. He also lives with his parents and occasionally stuffs his hands into his unwashed asshole. His mom is a NEET and his father abuses her from time to time. He lives in the Eastern part of the US and likes to act like an attentonwhore and loves to pretend to know what's best for smaller imageboards, even though he lacks any kind of community management skills. His autistic rants on lainchan's /q/ and some of his wizchan autistic screeching is hilarious. From what I've gathered he prefers to act like a lazy nigger online and then lashes out when someone calls them on his bullshit (he even makes death threats on fuarrrking imageboards). The dude is a literal lolcow who hasn't accomplished anything and he most likely never will, the only thing he has is his faux memory of what /r9k/ once was and how epic it was to post on 4chan. Everything I've said about the Internet is true and the old userbase from cool sites would agree with me.
For instance, about how bad the /r9k/ on 4chan is, they have range derezzed my area just for shekels for years now off and on. What are you talking about retard? 4chan makes it public when you can apply for a janitor/mod position. Some smaller chans do this as well. A year ago (or two) sushichan did something similar and even if they're not making it public you can usually chat with the owner/other mods to see if they're in need for new staff members. Since you saw the """decline""" of your precious /r9k/ you could've made a bunker or are you trying to tell me that not once in the span of 6-7 years you had enough money to rent a VPS and buy a domain name? You can't just 'get' actual moderator access to anywhere worth having it.
I was originally a /f/ag also, perhaps you didn't collect swf files by the hundreds from their in the early days. Newgrounds fueled that. Fuel fuels fuel. I figured I'd learn to code and contribute to that but my life was hectic for so long and devoid of Internet access and devoid of time that by the time I was in a position, though really never, it was dead to the point there'd be no one to use anything I'd create. What's the point?
Later I looked at making games via lua rather than flash so things like love2d and tic-80 could be used. The same tier of 'okayish' games could be made I figured. But, blah blah nope. My computer can't even run tic-80 nor love2d. The backwards compatibility issues, opengl issues, resolution issues, etc. cool you figure if both androids and windows could use it, until you actually go and try it to see the massive problems. Every day is another problem, and no one would care about what you made anyway by the time you're done, especially when like me you went most of your life without constant Internet access.
But, the constant negative outcast talks of the older /r9k/ gave me that to connect to at least. Woe.filetype.
Then the fagg0ts started their bait over the whole "wow losers we can pick on this bottom of the barrel XD". It's such soykafty human nature. They do it everywhere. Pedos in prison, incels on reddit, robots on 4chan, libertarians in politics, everyone wants to have someone to point at and say "well I suck my boss off but at least I'm not this homeless guy I just called the cops on XDDD".
Also, aside from that 4chan used to be funny and also zomg random. It's not even fuarrrking zomg random nor actually funny anymore. It's fuarrrking awful bait, nonstop, from trolling teens that go there to get it out of their systems. It's not able to produce anything anymore.
At least uboachan makes games from what I saw. What do these other chans I bitch on do? Nothing to warrant my silence.
Then again, that place is fuarrrking deader than it's MC.

Specifically what? At this point I've befell'd the bread (bad grammar deliberate, obvious play on words is obvious play on words).
Also, part of the play is that when bread falls you have to let it rise again... or, when making French bread, it takes all day because you have to smash it down. Maybe metaphorically that's what should happen to slowly baking threads. Then you have to let it rise again after shaking things up every now and again. Otherwise the bread is never good.

Political discussion is strongly restrained in lainchan. It has been discussed extensively before how politics and porn lead to many imageboards going to soykaf. The main theme of this site is cyberpunk and electrical technology, like programming, hardware, and computers in general. We have a few side boards, like /lit/ and /music/, but those also revolve around cyberpunk/technology. If you want to talk about vaccinations, and all the political crap that comes with it, there are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of other imageboards were you can talk about that.

And yet, the mods allow a few posters who are obviously not acting in good faith to prevent discussion of 5G. On any level. You try to discuss vaccination's relation to technocracy, deleted or derailed. You try to discuss synthetic biology, biomimetics, nanotechnology? Derailed or deleted. There is a pattern here.
Basically, lainchan has to decide what's what. It presently exists in a disjointed state and if it allows this type of poster to have free reign, it'll go to soykaf soon after anyway.

You definitely consistently act in bad faith dumping literally hundreds of articles. Worse is when you posted over a thousand file names.
>You won't engage with the topic enough to know what is and is not relevant.
Incorrect, you're quite presumptuous to make such a baseless assertion. Are you fuarrrking stupid or something? Look, you need to limit yourself to a single or handful of citations and explain why they're relevant. You simply dump, that is de facto bad faith. Furthermore, what you dump is completely without merit and credit, given they are never posted in a credible, peer reviewed form. This means no oversight for accuracy/honesty and zero exposure for the required replication. Looping back over and over to reiterate this simple requirement is very much Good Faith because it prevents you from bullshitting. You're acting in bad faith every time you post what is tantamount to lies and treat it as truth. Good faith is respecting literally everybody else's interests by informing them they're being lied to. Bad faith is perpetuating petty conspiracy theories that do untold damage to society at large. It's clear from every single one of your posts that you never wanted a "dialogue", just to push your addled conspiracy theories. You derailed your own post by constantly dumping your bullshit and pretending that you were above scrutiny and standards. Get over yourself you dimwitted little fagg0t.

>replication
There are tens of thousands of papers published over the last 120 years with consistent, fairly repetitive results, and extensive military interest as well. Had you actually read the documents provided you would know about projects where US scientists went to the USSR and studied the methods and equipment used in their labs. On returning, they replicated the Soviet results. This indicated at the time that small differences in the geomagnetic field and latitude were not the cause of differing results, and prior to this US scientists had assumed a linear dose response and hadn't bothered to study the low power densities the Soviets traditionally had (they might use 5 - 10 mW/cm2, where Soviets might use 1-50 uW/cm2. However, since I think more, and much bigger picture than you, I have consider whether this particular event is part of a communist plot. There's good indication it's not.
Funding was always scarce and finally dried up in the early 90's when the military took most of their work in-house. Industry had little interest, naturally. In the US this continues to this day. Without funding, without being able to actually send staff to visit other labs when setting up a precise replication, you're going to get one offs which build on a greater body, and rougher replications. That's how it is, that's how it works, that's life. Deal with it. And if you can't deal with the reality of science and politics, go somewhere else.
>conspiracy theories that do untold damage to society at large.
This is the only relevant part of your post. You basically perceive anything that isn't inline with the mainstream general narrative as dangerous. The type of irrational behavior which follows stems well known effects of early childhood traumatic conditioning, namely a tendency towards rage and dissociation when challenged, Stockholm syndrome, and trauma bonding. To you, questioning, period, is dangerous. It evokes the deep fear that you may have to face things are not exactly as they seem, and you may suffer the trauma and confusion of change.
The inability to handle "grown up" conversations, in this sense, is basically why if I couldn't manage you in the same way you would a very large child, I would simply boot you out of the conversation. Your hangups prevent anything from getting done, and ironically, amusingly, mind-bendingly, your "type" is nearly solely responsible for the existence of conspiracy theory to begin with. Architect of your own unrest.
>>7767
It's pretty par for the course. At this point I just find the behavior tiresome. He's essentially an overgrown little boy who's going to throw a tantrum until anyone he doesn't like either submits (gives him only what he wants, and none of what he doesn't want), or leaves. Which is basically what's going to happen if you don't take measures to rein in his excesses, he can't self regulate, and ultimately will drive out a range of posters and degrade the quality of dialogue for whatever remains. That's how it goes.

Yep, I don't think you knew about heuristics before this conversation. Really familiarize yourself with the concept. It also tells me you don't understand the feasibility of precise decision making under various constraints (realtime, large scale, complexity and inability to sample the precise state of any given element, unclear mechanics in state change, inability to predict exactly a given input to the system).
Heuristics are required for making decisions about large scale or complex systems. They're used constantly, everyday, with little choice in the matter. If you want something else, you'll need to go an create an AI God with a vast sensor network and incredibly low latency access to a well indexed database and plenty of processing power. That's the only way around it. Otherwise, you on your scale will just have to deal.
>I think I've had enough of you. This level of stupidity and ignorance is incredible.
Yep, agreed. My proposal is that after a certain threshold either deviating from or getting too meta into a thread/topic, certain posters should simply be booted out when they really start spiraling. Catering to their dispositions prevents productive dialogue, and simply deciding "we're not a controversial / political site" is not a solution.

And to add, the only alternative is somehow fostering a community where people simply don't bother responding to such people. Unfortunately in a small, relatively slow chan, this type of social dynamic doesn't emerge. It's a vulnerability of the platform.
Ultimately the problem really is the moderation. Seeing posts and threads disappear constantly is what makes the methods of pricks like this so easily weaponized. It works. They do their little song and dance, and they're catered to. The unwanted stimuli is deleted, and their badthink and badfeel goes away.

It's "incredulous" because they believe in pseudo-science, you're wasting your breath (as am I).

>I know what heuristics are because I'm a psych major. They're responsible for things like stereotypes and racism, among other ills.
No. A cognitive heuristic is not a hardwired pathway which *must* be used, though it can be called a potential bias. You need to consider what a heuristic actually is, in a more general sense. Which is the realm of logic vs demand.
See this to broaden the scope.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heuristic_(computer_science)
Consider the stock market and high frequency trading, which while severely dysfunctional, clearly "works" in the short term. Any kind of strategy or future planning necessarily draws from heuristics, which are formed and informed by experience and internal models. Take starting a business for example. Or, having an expired inspection and trying to avoid being pulled over. Deciding to speed at certain time,s and not at others. These are situations where you do not have access to information at the scale and granularity required to make decisions. Detecting when people are lying is the same.
Contrast this to the scientific literature, you're in the same position. A certain fuzziness in logic, while weighting branches by probability is required. Why is this heuristic required? The realm of thought, belief, and theoretical possibility can be contradictory and fairly broad, however, any action you take in the real world is strictly singular. So all of this space must "collapse" to your one action or decision.
I think you may be a year one psych major. The arrogance is definitely there.
>it goes to show how reliable your "heuristics" are, given your false positive rate.
Nah, I'm pretty willing to assume I'm correct. It fits your disingenuous and insecure pattern.

>They definitely are not required for any decision making,
Overtly false. Just run through what you've done today and consider why you allocated time the way you did, and on what basis you did one thing and not another. That is a heuristic.

Also, I find it amusing that the more you're pressed, the more you're beginning to "split". The number of posters coming to your aid, taking the exact same tone as you, and using the same words, is multiplying as you're stressed. The internet, and lainchan, is a symbolic representation of your internal world right now. Your way of dealing with stress is to splinter into pieces and try to fluff yourself up. If you can't get ohters to come to your aid, you become them.
I'm not mocking or attacking you, I seriously suggest thinking about this in the context of traumatic conditioning in childhood. Things like neglect, conflicting demands, so forth.

You're apparently a psychologist and a doctor, so I guess we must admit we're all the same person. After all, being in different places, thinking different (although similar) things means, by your heuristics, that we're all the same. It is a sign of psychosis that you see patterns where none exist, such as in this thread. There's maybe one person in here besides me and you're SO SURE that we're one and the same. Your "heuristics" are laughably bad.
