The web client is broken, I will try to fix it this week. Using a regular client works fine.

Web IRC should work now using the online client either from https://lainchan.org/irc.html or https://lainchan.org/irc/ .

New users are muted until they are manually voiced in order to prevent spam, harassment and rule violations.
You then undergo a 14 day vetting period , after which if you don't break any rules and are registered with NickServ, your user is automatically voiced.
