Age of Consent discussion keeps being derailed and deleted unfairly. Rather than discipline the users derailing the thread, mods are deleting the thread. This is simply bullshit considering there's a thread full of anti-scientific bullshit about radio waves, and other "dangerous" topics that get a free pass. Why are the mods being lazy and not moderating the actual thread contents and taking the bullshit lazy way out?

Age of Consent discussions have resulted in so much bickering and soykaf and lack of actual discussion, that they have become unrelated content. We do discipline the users derailing threads, and we do try and rerail them, but when you have over 75% of a large or fast moving threads being posts that should be deleted, but the discussion makes no sense without them, then it is better to lock and delete or delete the entire derailed thread. I am not being lazy, I just don't have 3 hours to spend reading and reading and then deleting and manually warning each rule breaking post in a thread of >30 posts or greater.
