Does /lain/ have a dedicated chat room besides mumble?

We run Mumble and IRC. Mumble address is in red in the global annoucements, and IRC is under irc in the top bar.
Lainchan doesn't host or endorse any other official services for communication, other than the imageboard, IRC and Mumble.

Which irc client would you reccomend for someone who hasn't used one before, and is on windows?

Use KiwiIRC on the top bar or another web based IRC or altenatively use Quassel or HexChat https://hexchat.github.io/ .
