Ok this may sound like a dumb but I can't figure it out. I've browsed launch an for a long time by now but suddenly it died and lainchan.jp appeared and then there is arisuchan too. So what's the difference between all those imageboards and why there are so many for basically the same topic.

>/g/ goes to soykaf
>kalyx makes lainchan.org
>soykaf is like kicking dead whales down the beach for kalyx
>kalyx puts lainchan.org up for sale
>appleman1234 buys it
>some of the staff don't like how he runs things (they would say authoritarian, i would say autistic)
>kalyx hacks lainchan.org vps and deletes it in protest
>appleman hosted the backups on the same vps
>rip.jpg
>staff anger intensifies
>fuarrrkit.jpg
>seph makes lainchan.jp (former admin here)
>kalyx joins lainchan.jp
>drams.jpg
>kalyx leaves lainchan.jp
>lainchan.jp rebrands as arisuchan
>dust settles
Anyways that is my understanding of it.
So we are left with only two choices not three. Lainchan is the larger one but is a bit disorganized and the quality of content varies. Arisuchan is slower but it has different boards and different feel. I personally browse both sites but find myself here more often because there is more to see.

Locking this for two reasons:
>one-post, non-tor IPs (read: Clearly just starting drama for no reason or yet more advertisement)
>pic related
