A transparent attempt at controlling what used to be a free forum. However, by then the place was in the control of whomever had coordinated the attack. No discussion of the topic was fruitful. Eventually I got tired of trying to combat slide threads and derailment of topics and I left. When I returned it had become what it is now. I assure you, It's not a place where political discourse happens. It is, as you say, an echo chamber.
