On any Linux client when I try to join #lainchan (the only used channel on the lainchan IRC network) it says "Cannot join channel (incorrect channel key)", which apparently means that I don't have the password for the channel. Is it now a password only channel? Is it possible for me to get the password? When I use the web client it says "You are not connected to the IRC network, unable to send your command." when I type a message.

yeah i tried to figure out the password to the IRC. I thought it was hidden in the rules or something in the IRC, then they removed the password for a while when things were going down and it looks like it back
