I am trying to install lainchan on a localhost. I'm using Apache and PHP version 8.4.11 on Debian Forky.
I have installed vichan before and configured it but upon discovering lainchan I thought it would be better and easier to add features to, however I am now stuck trying to install it.
After configuring apache and creating a new mysql database this is what I did:
cd /var/www
sudo git clone https://github.com/lainchan/lainchan.git lainchan.org
sudo chown -R www-data:www-data lainchan.org
cd lainchan.org
sudo composer install
sudo composer update
sudo composer install Composer kept giving a warning there was an "ambiguous class resolution" with twig, Twig and template.php but I ignored it.
After that I went to localhost/install.php but it gave an error saying that inc/instance-config.php did not exist, so i created an empty instance-config.php file and chown'd it to www-data (because then it gave permission errors otherwise). After that it still gave a long error with twig being mentioned so I tried removing the twig and Twig folders:
sudo rm -r inc/lib/*wig
sudo composer install Sure enough the warnings were gone from composer and install.php finally loaded in my browser (although there were some 'Deprecated' warnings at the top but I ignored them again).
Everything seemed fine but after I clicked the install button I get this and now I'm stuck and don't know what to do.
