Downloading the Lainchan database locally

I want a local copy of Lainchan to look at it offline. Is such a thing viable with Lainchan's Vichan fork to make a way to download a database with all the posts and images. If this is not possible to do without major effort, would it be okay if I download a copy of Lainchan with wget/httrack (given I will adjust it with reasonable settings).

Just download the whole imageboard jsons and store them. I've made a frontend for multiple imageboards and I get lainchan threads this way.
