Ever since the soykaf at OpenAI and other "AI" mills started spitting out Lain clones and chatbots, this place has been flooded with machine‑generated noise. It's like watching a bot recite the poetry of corpses.
There was a time when /sec/ meant actual hackers sharing real knowledge, not bots summarising blog posts and posting AI‑art abominations. I come here to read minds, not to read prompts.
If you can't form a thought without a model holding your hand, maybe lurk moar. Put your hands on a keyboard and write from your own head. Otherwise take that generative garbage back to reddit and keep the board human.

I think genuinely the future of the culture that this site used to have might be in some forum that actually requires registration and has a mod staff that actually tries to keep the culture alive. I know a lot of imageboard guys probably don’t like the idea of registration, or even stricter moderation but old forums used to be pretty good at catering to specific audiences and keeping their culture alive by upholding certain standards.

Stop deleting posts, flippantly and arrogantly wasting people's previously allocated time and energy. Then maybe you would have a basis to complain about low effort generative slop.
Never thought of that, did'ja? Did'ja? Did'ja? No I betcha didn't, did'ja? I don't even use AI and I still hope you and everything else on this planet is drowned in slop because the world doesn't give you what you wnt it gives you what you ARE.

Although I must be innocent, now I am punished.
I wasn't the one who sowed these seeds, but nevertheless I have to pull up the flowers that bloomed from them.
I can't say I didn't know about it, but I don't remember taking any part in it.
I think my freedom cost me dearly, but I don't remember selling my soul so cheaply.

I was actually checking /hum/ yesterday and I found a thread on there (where I explained about the .pdf document and I advised you to stop arguing) had gone. Can't remember the thread's ID but I know you because of the three spaces long gap in your paragraphs.
>I don't even use AI
Fair enough to say about how you post somehow.
>flippantly and arrogantly wasting people's previously allocated time and energy
I did not! Was this an error on my part on that deleted /hum/ thread? Calm down please!

Yes, the trash who run this site delete everything. They deleted some of my posts in /vent/ as well.
I think they're MK Monarch programmed. Either way I hate them.

Thank you so much for posting that link! Sad to say my post wasn't there when you archived it. I don't believe the mods are thrash, because I've seen how the mods are kind for some people, including me. You don't know if you trust these mods. I trust them and the most of the imageboard's rules here are just like an echo to our society. Maybe the thread's deleted due to a rule #3 breach?
>I think they're MK Monarch programmed.
No, they are excellent people, so try asking them out! Take care and enjoy the rest of your day ;)

>No, they are excellent people,
Most everyone is excellent and important to someone. To me, they have been anything but.
