4chan is over save me. I literally cannot exist without a board where people cannot discuss current events.

>>13176 If you want to make a current events thread, then make one in /r/, new boards are not made just because you ask for them.

>>13226 I don't understand where I am supposed to put this request. This is a request for a history board. your being extremely agro for no reason.
Anamika · 2025-04-19 11:10
>>13226 I also made it quite clear with the use of "CANNOT" not even "Can't" that I specifically don't wanna talk about current events

>>13176 I am not being aggro. If you can't exist without your own board that isn't justified by legitimate traffic, then your existence / struggle for survival should require you to find one else where.

>>13239 so you don't think theres any opportunity to capture some of the HIS users who are now lost to the wind. It was literally the only good board on the now dead site. A completely unique space on the internet in which current topics were not allowed.

>>13240 hey, i suggest making a thread about a specific event in history and why you want to discuss it. generals are not really good for history in my opinion (they're not good at all in fact and this is a consensus among altchans, unless it's something that has organically took interest in time like most generals are made here), and it's better to make something like: >The philosophical and institutional repercussions on the western classical world with the institution of the imperator by Caesar, here's what i think <your points and your sources> than something like: >Discuss past events which is very likely to engage people to spill their soykaf all over the place and make a mess of a thread. You should be specific and detailed about what you want to talk about, otherwise it's going to devolve into a one-liner opinion thread. IMO an entire history board is not really relevant here. User interest is mainly technology related with some that like humanist subjects too, we usually discuss things in a humanist or psychological key while a /his/ would likely just encourage stupid dicussions and jokes by attracting a crowd of people that had an exposition to history by videogames only, which by my experience was the usual crowd that you would find in that website /his/. this is just how i feel about it though and i'm also not a mod.

>>13335 You can't just make a thread you need the rules enforced, HIS had strict rules that you could not discuss anything more recent then 25 years from the current day. If you just make a history thread everyone is gonna be talking about gaza in minutes
