Questions about thread #12904
Judge Fang · 2024-09-30 05:17
As you may have guessed by the title, this thread is a question, not a 'restore my thread please' one, re. https://lainchan.org/q/res/12904.html
This was gone after I asked a few questions to mods about the numerology threads being some sort of ARGs (I'm not that person to be honest!). I came back here this afternoon, and the thread's... just disappeared. I feel like that person was making ARGs on numerology for people to solve; yes I asked a few questions on that thread, but was gone.
These numerology threads have been spammed so much that they are a Rule 7 breach, but I felt like they were more ARG-related stuff to the point that they got lost to time. How many numerology threads were deleted for reasons if rules count?
Hopefully my questions can get answered!

Turns out IRL itself is the ARG.

How strange is that?
For me, the numerology threads were making me think "this is complex", not spam because from what I could gather, part of those numerology threads and posts referring to numerology seem to actually be complex than a discussion.
The attached link in the original post was deleted, making me incredibly baffled because I put these numerology threads to the test; believing that whatever that person posted wasn't spam, but rather more complex and mind-blown. So complex that many people had ignored it and therefore was spam. That person's studies seem to match the might of a supercomputer.

I don't have exact counts. I believe the count of threads posted or threads posted in is above 12 and deleted is the same.
Discussing ARGs and actual discussions on numerolgy isn't spam, but posts by that poster are because they feature the same images over and over again, with the same lack of elaboration over and over again.
That poster isn't making an ARG, as much as you like to equate their threads as an ARG.
Just doing the X is a problem ? Please solve it , please spoonfeed me does not an ARG make.
We have had ARG / IG discussion threads in /inter/ in the past, and have had IG / shared gaming threads in /inter/ in the past.

Why does newpipe work just fine, but imvidious you have to instance hop until you find one with an unblocked IP?

>posts that feature the same images over and over again/same lack of elaboration over and over again
>same images that require elaboration on
>poster in question isn't making an ARG?
I feel like these threads were purely an ARG dump, due to the sheer complexity of these images and people ignoring them. Now THIS was what I elaborated on before thread #12904 was deleted, and from what I've read, they very clearly demonstrated the numerical underpinnings, and symbolic/sigil-like aspects of shows people here will be familiar with, but they are being mistreated as a spammer. The user in question covered this before, and was in fact, posting mysterious (if not unsolved) images.
They also covered "arbitrary and random deletion is never acceptable", in what way does it fit if I was mind-blown?

>I believe the count of threads posted or threads posted in is above 12 and deleted is the same.
....Because they were all deleted?
>they feature the same images over and over again, with the same lack of elaboration over and over again.
In other words, "you're not allowed to iterate in realtime" otherwise it's considered "the same image over and over again" and "without elaboration", despite the image and process itself being the explanation if it wasn't clear already. Not that it even has to be clear. If I drop in and start talking about optics, or bioelectromagnetics, or synthetic biology, you're not entitled to just immediately understand. At what point is that an unreasonable demand?
>Just doing the X is a problem ? Please solve it , please spoonfeed me does not an ARG make.
What does this statement have to do with... anything? What the hell are you are you even talking about Appleman? You have it backwards, you have some arcane criteria by which I am supposed to spoonfeed you, not the other way around. If anyone wanted to jump in with their own contributions or commentary they were free to do so. They didn't so the thread was basically just my realtime process and a powerpoint presentation combined.

>the same images over and over again, without elaboration, seems unreasonable and brings about arbitrary and random deletion
>the images in question are an ARG dump due to realtime process and powerpoint presentation combined
The images in question bring about sheer complexity, not any lack of elaboration for me because your studies seem to match the might of a supercomputer. I felt like these were more ARG-related stuff to the point that they got lost to time. While arbitrary and random deletion did this, I feel like Rule #4: "You should always elaborate on your opinions" is moot here, something's off with these threads and that's all cryptic things.

I found an archived copy of the thread I mentioned:
http://web.archive.org/web/20240929171016/https://lainchan.org/q/res/12904.html
Interestingly, I said a couple of things:
>"I just want to know what all this is about"
>"This is getting weirder and weirder every time we get these gematria/numerology attack threads on /q/"
Also, Appleman mentioned web links in one of the threads on gematria/numerology. And boy, I don't think it's spam but mind-baffling nonsense.
haha whoops
