Goodbye

I'm leaving this board. I left the IRC. I am deleting the Lain wallpaper, images and media from my devices. Don't get me wrong- I love Lain but I am done with Lainchan. The media was just a symbol of the connections which I enjoyed here. This was one of the only places on the wired where I have been able to find other people who share my interests. This is the only interesting board I have found that is not littered with soycaf posts, gore, porn and depression. The mods are soycaf. [7666] trolls and flexes on people who are just trying to establish themselves in the Lain community. Less than 200 on the IRC most days and I wonder if there would be more if not for interactions like the one I had with them. The best part of this board was and always will be the users. I hope I will be able to link with you all somewhere better in the future. I have had a good time sharing projects. I have felt understood and amused to chat with you all on this board and the IRC. The Lainzine was (is?) great. There is a lot I have learned from our conversations and the posts that are shared here. Thanks, Lain. Be good to each other. I'm going to go touch grass for a while. I left the IRC years ago when most of the people I had fun times with left. For some reason I keep coming back to this site, though.

too much p ol soykaf on lainchan these days its all so boring and dull. this site is slowly being overrun by zombies. look at the "how i get gf" threads filled with incel soykaf. i dont know about what happened with OP but im gonna take a break from this site too. try to spend more time outside feeding pigeons or something i dunno. whatever. still great stuff here so id probably come back here once in a while but man i really need to try sky diving. neets should do more adventure sports.

This place has been going down hill for the last few years. Storm users, swine from /r9k/ and actual schizos with less and less cyberpunk every year. Its slowly turning into 4/x/ with a lain theme.

Outing myself as a newfriend here but I came here shortly after 420chan got nuked. The community here is legitimately chill and the drug board folks are great. but the enforcement of the rules are dumb. I'm not even bitching about gatekeeping or elitism, I just wish there was some consistency with enforcement. oh well. The search for a suitable replacement website continues.
