Ban Antivaxxers from Lainchan

Can we make posting misinformation against covid-19 and the vaccines a bannable offense? It is a danger to our health and society and should not be allowed anywhere. Antivax is more harmful than racism, homophobia, and CP. Why is it tolerated here? You shouldn't be letting them get away with this!

A lot of people (and let's be frank, mostly it's Americans) are just plain unable to admit they were wrong in their doubts as to the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines. At this point, it's no longer healthy skepticism, it's mutated into some variant of oppositional defiant disorder. I was one of the ones initially skeptical about the safety and effectiveness of the covid vaccines, considering the speed with which they were developed. But there have been literally billions of doses of various types of vaccines, and they have proven very safe and effective indeed. Everywhere in the world where vaccine uptake is high and other preventative measures are commonplace (medical-grade masks when in close quarters with strangers, good handwashing hygiene, minimizing the amount of time spent among strangers in stores, etc), you see low case counts. And the cases that do happen tend to be milder. But everywhere where people throw caution to the wind, and crowd into public places elbow-to-elbow with strangers for hours on end, and don't wear decent masks, and don't get vaccinated, then case counts are sky-high and are more severe when they do happen. So when those of us who are vaccinated get pissed off and tell those who aren't to just get it done so we can try to get back to some semblance of normal life, we're not doing it as some Big Pharma plot to do Mysterious Evil Things to the wise skeptics. We're doing it in the spirit of an exasperated parent at the kitchen table telling their whiny 5-year-old to knock off their temper tantrum and just eat their damn vegetables.

The French government (mine) report that 90% of the population is vaccinated, (70% according to everyone else, go figure) yet France have the second worse spike, bigger than the spikes they had before the vaccine existed. Belgium, and Germany with 70% of the population vaccinated have the worse spikes they ever got. The situation in Germany in particular is out of control. You are posting misinformation about the vaccine and according to the OP, this should be a bannable offense. Now, it is true the death spikes are much lower now than before, and it's true unvaxxed are surepresented in the hospitals and in the morgues. This is the proof that the vaccine reduce the strength of the symptoms and reduce the mortality of the virus. The size of the spikes we are seeing, and the spikes in Gibraltar (99% doublevaxed) and in the HMS Queen Elisabeth (100% freshly doublevaxxed) prove that contamination still exist in a vaccinated population. Also, I want to know why everyone want to make the sound of their voice heard to fight covid, but none of them want to make people use N95, which are so effective it's what the medical staff use, instead of surgical masks that offer a limited protection. It happen that we have a tool that is effective against the covid and none of the anticovid warriors want people to use it. I have to be explained this particular fact.
