Programming recruitment and cleanup

Do you hate raids and dead threads on lainchan? Do you have experience with coding forums or imageboards? Easy thread restoration would probably require fundamental changes how the imageboard works - by making threads persist after they're supposed to be bumped off. Appleman has said he's having difficulties implementing this, so some assistance would likely be necessary. The github page would be great for this, if it wasn't a fuarrrkton of commits entirely behind what's running now. So updating and documentating any new source changes would be necessary as well. https://github.com/lainchan/lainchan I don't understand soykaf or know any of the people running this place, so all I can do is bring attention to them and to potential new contributors on here.

You are missquoting me. but considering you didn't actually communicate with me that isn't surprising. The github page isn't a fuarrrkton of commits entirely behind what is runinng now. Also changing thread deletion behaviour either by page invisible pages on boards for deleted threads or using other mechanism is quite simple but has not been done for other reasons, that you didn't bother to ask about. Single thread / post restoration that is one button press from database backup is what is complicated largely because of ensuring that the quoting and linking mechanism map correctly to existing or recreated posts (which have different post numbers) without doing it for each post manually.
