I don't see how lainchan is ending. The discourse is still fairly solid for the most part. The IRC is another story, but the less said about that the better. Sure there are a few choice people creating drama and trying to get attention but it is mostly just the IRC bs. Mods can promote it as much as they want, but it is probably best to let the IRC die along with all the drama and attention whoring that comes with it. Really, one of the good things about posting anonymous without tripcode and the like is subversion of the ego and focus on the discussion itself.
