not sure if this should go in DIY or not.
on December 14th Americas Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission will effectively repeal Net Neutrality laws. Americans have no power to stop this, only the ability to protest to senate members and the FCC.
at minimum Americans will face the possibility of sites throttled, mangled, snooped, or blocked by ISP's.
Who would be interested in a Lainchan VPN?

A VPN is good to protect your traffic from your local ISPs, but I wonder how effective would it be to avoid throttling. In case the ISP goes full-retard, they can just throttle all VPNs, and provides a "premium" or "commercial" plan for VPN traffic. Though I'm not saying they dare to actually implement it.
In addition, there are plenty of qualified VPN providers and some are located in jurisdictions with strict Internet privacy laws. How can anyone trust some random anons from an imageboard (unless they start a real business, like cock.li)? You also need to deal with the abusers.
