Does anybody else think that this site could really benefit from having a /cyber/ board?

It doesn't, because any /cyb/ thing you can come up with already has a topical board where it fits. You can think of lainchan as a whole as one big /cyb/, if you will.

The OP of that thread is an attempt to wage slave .jp and I assume other .jp folk joined in on the fun. If you did a quick search on ddg/google/any other search engine of your choice you'd be able to see that the same thread was copied and pasted on other websites as well.
